My boss scanned this and emailed it to me how nice is that?I painted this a while ago but I didn't want to submit a bad photo of it, but now I finally have a good scan.Β This is Ahnka in her traditional gear before coming to Raccolto. Her coat tells a story about her village/land. PS submitting art on phone sucks

Wow. Simply... wow. Not only is the traditional gear's design amazing but it's also a traditional picture! AND IT LOOKS SUPER CLEAN DESPITE BEING TRADITIONAL! Geez, Cher, how do you do that?Β
The colouring is amazing. From your colour palette (the vibrant warm colours that remind me of the sun in contrast to those cool sea colours... I am in love! It makes it seem like the coat is a horizon where sky and sea meet!) to the actual way you coloured this! Especially her blush is well done, so soft and cute!
The outfit she is wearing is gorgeous. As a total sucker for ANY traditional clothes, this is pulling on my heartstrings and makes my fashionista heart weep happily! Well done! I hope we get to see more of these outfits! And more Ahnka, of course XDΒ

I'm glad it looks clean, actually this was what I was trying to achieve the most. I outlined everything in waterproof ink before painting, that seemed to do the trick! Adding the blush was one of my favourite parts : D
It makes me so happy to know people are excited to see more of Ahnka. There will be more for sure! But only if you supply me with equal ammounts of Amara and Malcom!

when I saw this on Tumblr, I instantly fell in love with it.
This watercolour is just phenomenal and the handle you have with the colours just has me so awestricken I lack proper words to tell you how gorgeous this is.
The salt is definitely a wonderful touch and I am secretly jealous of your talent, my friend. Fan-freaking-tastic work!!!!

salt has such a cool effect, I hope you continue to work with it! Rubbing alcohol also has a SUPER AWESOME effect, just as an fyi XD, in case you're searching for something new to experiment with.
