Or...nature night...?I procrastinated on finishing this for years, and as a result completely missed the nature day event, but i'll submit this anyways. Ahnka has been settling in on Raccolto, but she hasn't strayed much from the beach. That's ok though, since I imagine island beaches at night must be really pretty.
Also featuring Snorri, Ahnka's Shinx friendo.

The colours. OH MAN, these colours. Can you please teach me your ways?
There must be a secret you are keeping to yourself that goes way beyond tinkering with the colours once you are done like you told me before!
All those little details, from the shells around Ahnka's feet to all those various little sprouting saplings and fireflies, are simply divine!
And Ahnka herself is as gorgeous as always, her long hair looks super amazing and the way you did the clothes... man, where can I get a pair of trousers like that?
The blush on her cheeks (and nose and fingers) just adds to the overall adorableness and her expression makes me smile!
Then again, all your art is so super lovely that it brings a grin to my face (just stop whatever you are doing right now and become that book illustrator, okay?).
I'd be your no.1 fan!
Last but not least, let me point out that you ALWAYS manage to use cool colours such a blue and turquoise and yet the pictures still look warm.
This is such a perfect example because it looks like one of those warm-ish summer nights despite the amount of shades of blue/green/turquoise!

Actually one of my biggest struggles is trying to choose colours to make a scene look like its during the night as I'm always tempted to choose the light pastels, as you know OTL Glad to hear they still look warm though, that is one of the biggest compliments and a HUGE relief!!
And the secret to my colouring?? Draw....while half asleep at 3am?? :''''D

I know right, she is such a joy to illustrate. I admit I was partially inspired by Phoebe's own cheery personalities when designing her. Brats and douche's are fun to RP, but I just can't go past a simple minded cheery girlie!

Ahnka is so beautiful, wow. I love the style you used here; it's like something from a fairy tale book! I also love the cool color scheme and how everything fits together despite being very distinct from each other (the orange looks amazing as well though). All of this... it's just wonderful! ^^

It was tough sticking to the cool colour scheme here, I'm always tempted to add some bright pastels despite this being a night scene.

The short break really did me well, I feel like I am finally seeing the true value of colours and the effect they can have on a drawing, and can finally tackle backgrounds as a result.

And where do I begin with this piece, everything about it is absolutely gorgeous. I love this style you've been using recently!

I have also missed drawing Ahnka, so this was a real joy to work on (when I finally got in to the groove and finished it)
And speaking of that, I am very grateful you still want to include Ahnka in Kyet's life despite me totally flaking on our RP which I will forever cringe about, sorry! OTL Im not sure if Kyet is still a fisherman and this 'help' would involve Ahnka learning and helping him to do so, or something completely different, but either way I would LOVE that! I am very attached to Kyet as a character, and I'm sure Ahnka is as well.

Of course I still want to! I love Ahnka, and I love roleplaying with you! Kyet is still a stinky fisherman and he could definitely use the help (his grumpy little Buizel and dumb Psyduck aren't very helpful)! And he's really mellowed out despite his new totem change, so he'd be much nicer. =v=

I have seriously been loving this style you have been using lately. I was going to comment on the Crow and Girl pieces because you recently used a similar method for that and I loved the way it looked and the concept of Crow and how Girl has to get used to his abilities to make their relationship work but I just didn't get around to it. Sorry!
Anyway~
I love the lineless look, it really empathizes the colors you use, which, of course are plentiful and beautiful to look at.
I love the variety of 'cool' greens and blues in this and the constrast between the flora and the warm colored fireflies.
As always, it is wonderful to see Ahnka! She is always so bright and curious and you always know how to give her an expressionmthat warms my heart and increases my love for her character.
