“Oi, stop moving around,” Luka grunted at the young stallion, twirling on his heels as the Zlesdin pranced nervously along the gorgeous drive. He couldn’t fault the creature, his bright baby blues glancing up repeatedly to eye the darkening sky. It had been pouring on and off and he was getting a feeling that the pair wouldn’t escape it this time.

Pharaoh tossed his head, eyes wide as his ears swiveled backwards. The wind had picked up suddenly and the already cold morning felt downright chilly. Rain was coming.

The young man reached out and flicked the lead, trying to regain his charge’s attention. “Ahh shit.”

Something wet had fallen on his head. He looked up, only to yelp in discomfort as the skies opened up.

One hand reached up to cover his wilting mohawk while the other tightened on the lead as the stallion snorted his displeasure. They had to finish their round before they could run to safety but Luka could already hear his teeth chattering in his skull. “Just go with it,” he begged the unimpressed Zlesdin, “we’ll be done before you know it.”

Will continue to tweak but I felt that this portrayed my mood well enough... hah, whoops. Wanted to try some variation in the weather and let me say, rain is hard!
