My new OC for Now everything is up to date~

A bit of warning: I haven't had much practice with Raiden yet so if his character seems to change I'm so sorry. I'm still trying to figure him out and he's proving to be a rather big challenge.

Intimidate- He usually prefers to be seen as the bigger person and higher ranking in all interactions with others so don’t be surprised if when you first meet him that he stares you down. The sooner most people realize he’s the main on in the charge the sooner you’ll get to see his nicer side.

Attacks:
Spark - this one has a chance of paralysis so be careful little broskies if he uses this~ If your OC has Limber though your all good~ You'll just be shocked into a slight oblivion cause Ray Ray is known for spamming this attack =w=b. It hits all foes at once so no one is safe BD.

Personality:
Dominant…..enough said. He has a bad habit of talking down to others. Ways to know he doesn’t find you in high standings is if he leans over her when he speaks, him calling you ‘pet’, or him sloughing and playing the ‘I’m bored’ face every time he sees you. Women are always inferior to him it seems and he doesn’t care for any that snap back or do not talk in a polite manner to him. Judging by appearance is also an issue with him and he holds grudges like a bitch.

But this luxray can be a big fluffy kitty if you manage to get on his good side. Kids instantly earn a special place in his heart no matter how undisaplend they are. He known to play a bit rough with them but would never physically harm them by any means.

He is naturally curious though so if your simply wondering around near by and he hears you he might just come looking for you.

History:

(Raiden came to the hollow after all the big bad things happened so he's only heard rumor of what has happened)
Raiden came from a land outside of the Hollow and was born into a military family. It was a very disciplined household and he was used to a ‘picking order’ of sorts. Being the third son he had to best his two older brothers to manage his way to the top. But even that took some hard work with him soon learning the skills he needed to be considered a worthy son in the eyes of his father. Hunting became an art for him, tracking a needed skill, and defending his family a priority. But being from a military family he was cursed with holding up the family traditions including serving for his country.

At the age of a young 15 he was recruited into the armies along with his elder brothers. They were placed in separate ranks so he never saw them during his services. Yet again he had to weed his way to the top once on his own. He had grown to dislike the orders he was giving and didn’t care for the upper authorities. Yet he slowly became a well-known soldier and at the age of 21 he had managed to gain in rank to a satisfactory position. With his men in arms he led several missions and even was granted special honors by the generals. But unfortunately with his power he became rebellious. Sure his operations were always a success yet he and his men went around the direct orders. Under his command they were ruthless killers that combed down anyone in their way. They became accustomed to the taste of blood and order was maintained in violent manners. When fights broke out in his ranks, Raiden wouldn’t even raise an eye to it saying that the runt need to learn his place so why not let the men beat him down. This was called to the attention of the higher captains which they tried to stop. One captain unfortunately met his end when they came to speak to Raiden of such a matter by the soldiers themselves seeing how they had become so use to killing anything that came against them. Raiden himself let it fall off of his shoulders even though he was blamed for the said murder. His men and himself were given leave of their ‘excellent’ services, handed their titles and rewards, and sent on their way. With his unruly actions in the army Raiden’s name had been mentioned in several areas causing fear in the civilians to know such a merciless killer was free to roam and not placed in jail. Many thought it was blasphemy and that the luxray should be put to death saying the government had used the worse excuse to let him live:

He performed his duties for the country. Though his methods were cruel and violent towards the enemy his actions have kept our boarders safe. The loss of the captain is unfortunate yet everything Raiden Kei has done oversees such an offense.

He refused to go home seeing how he was for certain his father would not agree with what he had done. A year passed of thinking over his days of the military causing him to realize that perhaps his methods had been flawed. Maybe killing all those men had not been the simple answer to being successful. Regret started to set in seeing what his actions had taken from him. There was no home to return to without the sudden apparent shame on his shoulders for acting out in such an animalist manner and people looked to him in fear.

Luckily there was a day where he met someone at a bar, him simply wanting a meal. He had taken up being a killer for hire. He was known for being ruthless so why not take up an unforgiving profession. At this place he ran across a…well…odd fellow as he would say. An espeon thief going under the name Hisao. The thief had had an annoying confident air and had simply taken the seat next to him ordering some food. The espeon instantly had recognized his face from several adds but not as the assassin but as the old military man that had been most feared back in his day in the ranks. Raiden hadn’t spoken a word, not too ecstatic about his past being brought up by a complete stranger. Luckily another figure came in as Hisao continued on his irritating chatter causing the luxray to believe this man was purposely looking for trouble (and most know that yes that was the case).

“Hisao! What are you doing?!” had come a yell as a young female Riolu had run at him to practically drag him off his chair. She was quick to apologize for the man’s behavior after giving him a good hit on the arm and yelling off several names at the espeon. Of course Hisao only laughed it off saying he was simply making ‘friends’.

That wasn’t the first time Raiden had met the two, him coming across them and several other members of what he had simply considered a posy of some sort. There had been an absol as well, several other eveelutions that the espeon was always with, and a haunter going by the name of Masa. Slowly the small group caught his interest as he was red flagged to suspect what later became fact: they were watching him. When he decided to actually start looking for them he noticed that they were always near him keeping watch.

With some snooping of his own he soon learned that they were a thief guild that mostly helped out the poor in the area by stealing from the rich folk. Everyone in the town knew them and were more the happy to tell the tails of the Tsuda Clan. They weren’t even related by blood yet the guild leader would openly give them his family emblem to wear and would allow them to use the Tsuda name as their own if they found it necessary. There were only two true Tsuda’s in the clan though and that was the young Riolu he had seen on several occasions and her uncle, Hayate Tsuda.

“Seems someone has been asking some questions around the town~” Raiden had simply been wondering the town that day before the young Riolu had come up next to him. She simply walked in stride with him as if they had been old chums all their lives with a cheery smile. He didn’t answer but looked forward to watch his step.

“Oh~ I have a possible job offer for you~ Comes with full pay, a meal, and maybe a bit more of a solid employment.” The news had taken Raiden by surprise. Turned out that Hayate was in need for someone to train some new recruits that were more than new to the possible violent world of a thief. Why not ask an old military man to do so? With him also working under Hayate (who he had never met) he was given a home, protection from the law, and a constant source of income. Through his workings with the Tsuda’s he also gained several connections and his reputation slowly seemed to change. Sure his history was well known but he slowly learned how to live in the world it seemed. Yet he didn’t even seem happy with this life.

Mariko's POV
As the young, male awoke again to find him lying in someone’s unknown bed in a room somewhere with a small wrapped towel against his forehead. He was only 18 at the time, when he was saved by the infamous, Raiden. The Luxray that he had seen before his eyes closed; to him he thought it was the end of the line. A few years passed and Mariko; was raised by him to be an Assassin. Luring in the men on the bounty and soon leaving the dirty work to the Luxray. But Mariko and Raiden became the best of friends even though they despised each other for the weirdest reason. Yet, one night, Mariko offered himself to the Luxray. Giving all to him as a thank you for saving him the time he thought he would perish this world.

Raidens POV
He finally come to terms with it. As much as he was set in his way with this new life working under the Tsudas it was time to finally move on. The Tsudas were kind enough to set him up in an old home they had made in a place called the Forbidden Hollows. They had nothing but kind things to say of the place even though most of the people that lived there had said it was nothing but a troubled and full of criminals. Then he would fit right in, right? This seemed to take a turn though not shortly after moving in. He had finally settled and was getting into the swing of things while living on his own roughing it out a couple of weeks. Children had found it entertain to come to the house and he had no idea why (damn you Yuuda and you childlike magnet ways). While on his usual trek around the grounds to shoo away any pest he managed to find someone along the trails. Spotting a rather feminine figure he instantly thought the worse as he came over, looking down to the person (a.k.a Mariko the Masquerian). They looked horrid in his opinion; him kneeling over what he thought was a woman to ask a simple question. Gaining no response he sat contemplating for a while before simply giving in and taking them back to his home till they woke. Then he would simply send them on their way and continue on as if nothing had happened. A rare act of mercy that felt foreign to him.

With some more bumps in the road the two soon met an entertainer going by the name of Kikei. Venturing out for some simple shopping they came across him and well….long story short he must have thought little Mariko was supper and tried to eat her. Playing hero for once in his life Raiden put an end to the possible danger yet the Hydreigon ended up following the two home. The first couple of days had been rough with the dragon around, Raiden honestly finding the man rather creepy and not truth worthy. But as time has passed Raiden has come to call him one of his dearest friends even though he does admit some of the things Kikei does is odd.

Since then the three have lived rather happy lives together in the home they had been graciously given. But what happens in the house stays in the house as far as Raiden’s concern. If other’s start prying he takes up a rather scolding tone with them so be careful when addressing the topic of ‘family’.

***AFTER THREE YEAR TIME SKIP!**

Everythings pretty much the same. Raiden has figured out his game trails and has mapped out the entire Hollows. This plays to his advantage seeing how this kitty prefers not to be seen and avoids contact with others. (sorry guys OTL. He was added right before the group closed XD)

His house still consists of the fabulous Mariko (which is the little person in the app he's carrying around cause he's just oh so cute like dat~) and the interesting Kikei. There is rumor spreading though that trouble may be heading their way though~

Additional info:
~ Has two older brothers and one younger sister
~ Tail is private property…..don’t touch
~ Talks in his sleep when he’s overly stressed and sleeps in a tight ball.
~ Typical sore loser when he’s bested.
~ purrs when people play with his hair or scratch his ears. He'll tell ya not to do it though cause purring is embarrening ('///')
