OK... Sometimes you are inspired by the people around you and often generates such inspiration. I ventured into Donna's studio one day and found inspiration to wear an outfit I shot in one of my Noir photos. So for your pleasure I present Donna Spade and Trixie Moll...

Thank you... I had fun playing with the lighting. What is particularly fun about this was I simply paid a visit to Donna and found her unresponsive dressed in that overcoat and hat. I went for the noir feel right away. I thought the shot turned out well.

Given the fabulous fashion presented here, immediately thought of Republic Serials (cliffhanger movies produced in mid-20th century) which I may have been exposed to as young boy dropped off by parents at the Saturday matinee. Really discovered them as an adult though by patronizing video store in San Pornando Valley specializing in obscure and hard to find Hollywood classics (and not so classic). These serials had lots of DID tie up scenes, some of which were pretty good. The high heels shown in this artwork are quite a bit nicer.

Awe.. thank you Michael... I wish there was a store like that around here. I love vintage classic movies!!! I recently saw a local play that was set in the 20s and it has kind of put me in a vintage mindset... I will likely try and capitalize on that at some point... that is if I can get myself motivated...
