Description
Trying new techniques for skin shading.Mech and 2b,4b and 8b steadtler mars Pencil on A4 vellum.
Used a brush for smudging and blending.

Outstanding work. The coposition is very striking. Shading of the hair is excellent. The left eye seems slightly out of place. I would have hidden it under the hair or else made it peek out in several places. You state that you are trying out some new shading techniques. Overall the shadinng is very good. There appears to be some banding or mottling on the arm that I find distracting. Also the shadows are on both sides. Ii suspect this may have been a rsult of your experimentation. Personally I feel that the drawing will benifit from a distinct side light. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
