Description

This piece of fanart of Nanami, the mermaid from Okamiden, is a piece that I wanted to do for a very long time. Originally inspired by Chuggaaconroy's Let's Play of the game, I thought a drawing of Nanami emerging from the water would be a really nice image. So initially, I took to drawing it, but was so disappointed with it because of how hairy it looked. However, after having realised how quickly I can now draw on this tablet, I took to rehashing this artwork between last night and today, and it's finally finished.
This is safely my best piece of fanart to date. I'm just grateful for the progress. While I admit my favourite part of this entire drawing is the water, I'm sure some may have different favourite bits about it. Anyway, all you Okami and Okamiden fans, enjoy.
Sketchbook. Don't know how long it took me, but it must have taken a total of three hours, not including the long breaks and stuff I had to do in between.
