Description
This design is for saleI've decided to make a little series of tattoo designs.
This one is a little less bright than the rest, in night shades.
Watercolors.
And an obnoxious watermark since some humans don't know how to behave online. I hope you still like it.

I was just thinking about how this would make a great tattoo, as my nickname is Raven and all my current tattoos have a feather theme! That's my only problem with awesome tattoo ideas from dA--eventually more and more people will get it or something way too similar.
It's still a great idea/design.

I doubt original tattoos exist. The best originality we can get is a skilled tattoo artist that can turn a simple idea into something beautiful.

I'll agree with that, to an extent. The feather turning into birds, the girly shooting herself in the head with blood turning into butterflies, and even the dandelion seeds turning into birds/butterflies are the type of tattoos I was talking about though. It's a simple idea that can't really be turned into something else when you feel a connection with what it already is. So...tons of people have the same exact tattoo (a lot that have been shown off on dA for example) that is now also a graphic you can buy on t-shirts, and has been used as stencil artwork randomly around different cities.
Not that there's anything wrong, at all, with that. I just prefer that the tattoos I have aren't something I'll see on someone I pass daily in Chicago.

I'm baffled about how does it matter to anyone that an idea they relate to happens to appeal to others as well. If i like a tattoo [and can afford it] i will have it even if 1000 people already do.
It's like...not having a baby daughter just cause all your friends have daughters...just weird.
But i know nobody else thinks like that

I see tattoos as a personal statement. I don't want something generic or to 'share' a thought with someone else. Everyone I know designs their own tattoos or has a friend do it, because it's meaningful that way. I have had commissions done, I just request that they don't become public, which I haven't had an issue with from any artists on dA about.
It's just my personal feelings on tattoos.

I love it! Personally, if you have to protect yourself with a watermark, go ahead. It's your work and if someone would try to steal it it's your right.
