Beauty and the beast is my favorite faerytale. You must've noticed that. Who said 'bestiality'? Shutup.I got this nifty idea from *CAStock 's contest - [link] - mixing together 2 or more Grimm tales.
I'm not likely to win in this contest, but hey, i still liked the idea.
Sleeping Beauty is sometimes called Briar Rose, and the Beast seems to have some flower issue or another as well, so i decided it'd be a good idea for him to come and wake her with an enchanted rose.
I also like roses. Especially white ones.
Lol, does Beast count as anthro?

The colors attracted me. Usually the beast is all dark, but the gold really pulls you in and compliments the dress amazingly.

Somehow this makes me think of the lion and the lamb, because it is such a tender image. I can also picture this being a pretty cool image in stained class too!

The colours here are certainly softer than what you usually use. I love the tones you've used here (not that I don't always enjoy your tones ... well, that came out badly).

I think i just did bad post-processing after scanning it...the colors are the usual.
Though...i have really no way of knowing how they look on other monitors anyway.

I like the way you did the wings. Also, they give a gargoyleish look to the Beast, which is great (Disney's Beast is awesome but is like a giant hornered lion or something. I like big bat wings). Oh, and the kitty is a little cute detail.
