This is awesome. I like how the sand's fading away in the background; doesn't look all that realistic but neat nonetheless.
I noticed you mentioned in one of the comments that these two have a "father/son" relationship; if you don't mind me asking, which one is which?

For me, this was a pretty realistic background...I suck at backgrounds XD
Well the tan/stripy one (Kyore) would be the father-figure and the red one (Tah'mel) is the other one. In the long run I want to do a comic about them because I have their story all planned out...but that probably wouldn't be any time soon

Love the sand around the feet. I thought this had been made with a traditional medium until I saw the description. The red one looks intimidating, like one of those freaky deep water fish. What program do you use?

I used Photoshop CS4 (or CS5...I can't remember) for this.

this is very nice.

don't really listen to the new music more an old music person.

but this is nice, really like the colours, almost looks like an old 70's prog or rock album cover, the two dragon's going across new land, the sun setting and great name for the album too kings and queens, this really reminds me of rick wakeman's journy to the center of the earth, as it has two strange creatures in it, not like this but close, very nice
