Caracal is a species of cat distributed from western asia to africa. It was name from turkic word "karakulak" which means black ears. It is also known as desert lynx. But despite its similarities to lynx, its closest living relatives are serval (genome split) and african golden cat (same genus). It lived from semiarid deserts to savannah. Its prey range from small rodents to mid sized antelopes.And oh for a little addition,i mentioned caracal in my velociraptor deviation by comparing how similar their lifestyle is as agile small predators with high jumping capabilities...
