He chased close behind Sherlock, much to his enjoyment- he liked this whole 'running on all fours' thing.Β

As he flew he briefed John in on the situation. They were looking for a unicorn that is very skilled at teleportation. His targets were usually teenagers with a particular coat colour. There was a colt with that coat colour and the latest victim was taken nearby so their best guess was to shadow the new potential victim.
"So-" He asked once he had finished the briefing. "How are you liking the pony life?"

"Oh its good fun I s'uppose- slowly getting used to hooves and tails and all that, finally found a comfortable sleeping position..." he retorted as he continued to follow, looking down at his hooves as they hit the ground and rose up again in his stride, amazing. "Plus the work is good, I've missed being out on adventure- oh sorry, guess you don't know too much about all that... nevermind it..."

"Glad you're adapting well then." He raised his head back to target. "... I'm going to fly on ahead. Take a left after this street, then another. You should be able to see our potential victim just across the street. Keep an eye out for any unicorns." Without another word he flapped his wings down, slowly pushing himself higher into the ground until he was no more than a spec against the grey clouds.
