Description
First of all, I absolutely have to give JackalGiana so much credit here. I've had the idea for this custom for it feels like ever, but I never could get the design down that I wanted. With only a vague direction (and barely that), Yugi did a fantastic job with this design!
The items and mutation, however, were done by me. Which, to make it easier, is why I'm posting <3
This custom is based on Mollymauk Tealeaf from Critical Role. I've wanted to make a CR custom for a bit, but I was stuck between Molly and another character, however I definitely felt like I had more ideas and a better fit for him in my AU than the other ideas that I've had in the past.

They're only loosely based on his namesake anyway, so I am most definitely looking for relationships.
He's going to be a tarot reader, who can fairly accurately see into the future, but rarely shares anything of importance with clients. Tends to hang around my other custom, Mr. Dark's, carnival a lot although they don't exactly work for Mr. Dark.
As for your idea, to be honest it's a pretty great one. They don't have a father, so filling that roll with Jophiel would work pretty well. And with as much as they travel, it wouldn't be surprising to run into one of the many Jophiel kids at some point either. So I'm totally game for that if you have any ideas for that. More than likely, his mother was probably some kind of witch.
Also, just to note, it doesn't matter what pronouns you use when referring to them. Tends to lean a little more toward male but only mostly out of old habit.

As for Critical Role, it's a twitch stream done weekly, of a few popular voice actors who build characters and play a Dungeons and Dragons campaign together, it's a show sponsored by DnD beyond and produced by Geek and Sundry. It's a pretty enjoyable experience but it's... a commitment to start watching it because the episodes are 3-4 hours long (I generally listen to it instead of watch, while I'm doing viscet batches and such instead of listening to music)

Sorry it took so long to respond...I have very little time anymore.
But Jophiel himself is a massive flirt, so whatever he would have had with Mollymauk's mom would have been extremely temporary. He probably wouldn't have even stuck around to even know that Molly was on the way. He's done that with all of his kids, though...and in Lyf's case, Jophiel is her grandfather, her mother being his child. So Jude and Kunal are her uncles.
Jophiel can world hop, so if need be, he can appear and disappear on your world on a whim. (In case your world is separate from others). There are portals on my world that lead to different worlds as well, so any of my characters can go to any other world at random.
Jophiel wouldn't really want anything to do with Molly, he'd have no interest in them at all. He's not a fatherly type and has no desire to ever be. He only pursues his own desires.
Jude and Kunal, though...They are trying to find any other siblings or relatives they might have. If their relatives show even the smallest ounce of powers or abilities, either Jude will attempt to manipulate them into working with them, or if they are reluctant, he will attempt to eliminate them. Jude views himself as the rightful Heir to my world. Since his father created it and all. But honestly, he is sort of mediocre in power levels. He's just really good at manipulating others into working for him and doing things for him.
Lyf is actually on the run from Jude and Kunal. Lyf and her best friend Nine could end up stumbling upon the carnival and in turn, stumbling on to Mollymauk...Maybe Molly sees some sort of connection between themself and Lyf? Whether it be in actual blood relation...or the fact that they will, somewhere down the line, share a common enemy in Jude and Kunal? Whatever it is, I'm sure they come come up with some kind of connection.

Don't worry about how long it takes to respond, it takes a bit for well thought responses anyway, and we both have other important things we have to worry over too. So honestly ita no big deal. I think it might have taken me longer to respond than you anyway lol
Honestly the stuff about Jophiel works really well. So as long ad you want to still make that canon I'm all for it! I think its a fantastic idea.
Molly is pretty smart, and has really good intuition so Jude isnt getting anywhere lol Guess Jude gets him another enemy. Poor Jude, he just doesnt have much luck.

As for the stuff with Lyf I think that could really work well too. And maybe Molly can kind of keep Jude off of her back a while, I'd say the carnival is pretty good at detering people like Jude with all that power gathered and such a strong and fearsome owner to keep other threats away. If you wanted to go that route. It would probably be good for Molly, help ground a bit, to have a relative around. And they really wouldnt mind to spend some time with Lyf. Honestly Molly os pretty sociable anyway.
