Even worse when you have nothing mature to say either.

I love this! Thumper's advice has kept me out of trouble on Deviant Art and You Tube for years.

This advice stamp has a really, really good point. I get tired of people saying bad stuff. So let 'em learn from Thumper's advice.

Thiiiiiisssss!!! So much. hOMFG.
Not to sound like an old woman, but going through other people's journals, reading comments posted on artist's drawings, just about ANYTHING on this site seems to only represent drama. What ever happened to "if you don't like it, don't look at it" mentality.
I have seen my share of things posted on this site (or anywhere, really), that I didn't particularly like the style of, or the context, so on and so forth, and here's what I do:
I.
Click.
That little red box on the upper right hand corner of the page and close out the browser.
What a fucking concept!
Stop the hate, people. If you don't like it, blog about it on myspace.

I love this! It's kinda my motto. I see it all the time: people criticizing and insulting others for their interests- Twilight haters for example(this is especially evident right now). If someone's having fun, leave them be. "If you can't say something nice, don't say nuttin' at all!"
Except when I'm being a bitch <.<;;;

D: Twilight isn't littaure( I know.. bad spelling). It's more or less a fanfiction with very bad BAD values.

Regardless if it's a great work of written art or something a twelve year old could have wrote(everyone can have their opinions to one or the other) It doesn't mean that someone has the right to harass someone else about liking it. You, just now, had no reason to comment on my example except to say something bad. it had no other point because my example wasn't riding on the quality of Twilight. I wasn't even DISCUSSING Twilight.

Oh, for sure it's not an "all time great book". I read it through mainly because I like to finish what I start and I had the book recommended to me by a friend. Even if I didn't like it one whit, I may still use it as an example in relation to this stamp. It was a brief comment to the book that made sense, as you agree by saying you would never harass someone over their likes/dislikes. But I don't see why you had to reply to my comment with something negative, when I wasn't discussing the book at all. It really had no relation to my comment except to put your opinions on someone you thought maybe was a fan of the book. If I was truly a fan, that may have hurt my feelings, and meaning to or not you wouldn't have been saying "something nice or nothing at all"
No, I won't go to that link. Frankly, I'm done with that series and its faults have no interest to me. It may become just one more book that gets popularity and praise beyond its worth, but that's nothing new. I save my reading time for more positive things, like reading the books that DO deserve the praise. I reccommend Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrel.

So true!! Every time I see a bad comment somewhere, I always think of Thumper's quote.
I can't believe how rude some people can be.
And this stamp is really cute!

Oh, that is l33t! <3
While I LIKE getting constructive criticism, I agree about people commenting on fanart just to say how much they hate the subject matter.
(I know the stamp is kind of old now, but I just found it and figured it deserved a nice comment as I faved it.)

I'm glad you commented even though this is old now. ^^ It was new to you. lol And yeah, this isn't meant to be anti-constructive criticism, just against those who leave nasty comments. I'm glad you liked it!
