Description Khu, 16"x20"in. oil on canvas gallery wrapped.
Khu is of the Black H'mong tribe in the far northwest of Vietnam. She has two kids Meto and Mong and is like my lil sister. I try to visit her family every time I'm in the country. Print proceeds of Khu are brought back to help her family with new shoes, cloths and rice as the price of rice is 5 times higher than the year before.

My pleasure. Me too! We're all into it; nobody's spared! I can't stop thinking, day and night, of how the human race has gone so evil!! But i also think that it couldn't have been otherwise because it would be a perfect world and there would be no need for another life!!

The detail on her clothing must have been a pain, but it was well worth it

Mahalo, I don't mind the detail if I'm in the zone, but if i take a break it is hard to pick up the brush again. The stitching is very detailed on the Black H'mong clothing so I wanted to get it as close to the real thing as possible. The trible ladies are the toughest critics I have had so it's important to get it right or they will let you know your work sux,lol.
