I made this guy in 2012 and he's been traveling around to cons with me. His debut was 2012 San Diego Comic Con, and Todd Stashwick took this photo: instagram.com/p/M_bSz2EEH9/ At the time he was nameless, so we decided on Vern because it sounded kind of like vermin, haha. In 2013, I took a photo of him with Terryl Whitlatch at CTNX and I noticed it's in the banner for the Sketchbook January Hero Challenge !

He has a wire armature with sculpey face, paws, and ears. I used faux fur. I'm probably going to 'retire' him from cons soon, and I'm planning on making a new 'con buddy.'
