Short description: I created Selene at first to be a villain, however all villains need a motive. I never gave Selene one because for the life of me I couldn't think of one. Until I settled on her being an extremist when it comes to her views on where she thinks the squid government is going.

Long Description: Selene grew up in a very proud family. They were proud of their heritage and she was proud to be a member of that family. What they taught her was to never forget who you are, where you came from, and what your country was founded on. She held the Octarians principles up high. When she became of age to be able to enlist, the ideals of a free society was in her blood. When word got out that her species was about to go to war with another species with a different way of life and were bickering over territory issues, she enlisted faster than her parents could sit down and talk with her. In the military they put her to work in the tech and weapon department, which was good, she always had a thing for mechanics. In that position she put Marina to shame. Selene developed many weapons and technology that would have contributed to them winning the war if she didn't refuse to make one thing. That one thing was the hypno shades. Selene was raised to believe in liberty and freedom, not in mind controlled soldiers. When they told her to make them she refused, which in turn got her arrested and tried for treason.

While in a cell, wondering where her life was going, Tartar learned of her future, lethal injection for being found guilty for treason. Tartar thought that was a waste of an asset. If the Octarians didn't want her anymore, he would take her, forcibly. A day before lethal injection Tartar sent a task force to kidnap and take her for sanitation. Like 98% of the other MIA soldiers, her kidnapping and sanitation was a success. From there she did Tartar's bidding in designing parts for the statue. Under the influence of Tartar's hypno shades, unable to resist, her worst fear.

After Agent 8 went full doomslayer on every green organism that pointed a gun at them, Selene was spared for she was a scientist, not a soldier, she didn't fight. Response teams came in and freed the remaining sanitized and provided them rehab if they so desired it, which most of them took, except for Selene. Selene is stubborn, she has fixative thinking. What she was told over 100 years ago can still apply and work in the present in her mind. If she is going to be the last one standing, so be it.

What Selene does now is try her best to heal her mind and sanity by herself, tinker and invent things using stolen supplies, and drive a stolen car that she has fallen in love with along with her massive robot. She also keeps a close watch on the government. When the Octarians were defeated, the 2 cultures and countries essentially merged, not everyone is happy with that, Selene is one of them. No one really knows what is inside that warehouse of hers, all witnesses know is that she spends an absurd amount of time in there. Selene's goals are to lower inflation back down to 5 cent sodas, or 99 cents a gallon for gas, reduce her government's spending, and to undo some past laws. She has a plan on how she is going to do that...

Skills include: Really smart to do the things she does, sucks at unarmed combat, really good at making other things fight for her, easy to piss off if you don't share her views, occasionally has PTSD attacks from refusing rehab.

My Sanitized Lore: Marina in the octo expansion stated that these green octolings have no life signs, giving the hint that they are essentially zombies. Now thinking in the mindset of someone who wants to make an army, I have developed some things. If I wanted a soldier, I would want said soldier to be powerful, better than what my opponent has. An easy way to do that is to grab preexisting soldiers, and convert them, octolings. Now to make them better than my opponent, I would need a way to enhance them, lets create a special formula that once inserted to the preexisting soldiers, makes them better. These enhancements include:

Longer life span: Longer life spans gives you more use out of your soldiers.

Immune to temperature: Not being able to feel the temperature allows your soldiers to easily dismiss the cold winters of Russia, and invade it like a pro.

Some strength bonuses: You need your soldiers to be able to one hand grab the enemy by the neck and lift them up for intimidation, looks good on camera.

Sterilization: You want your soldiers focused on the fight right? No other distractions. By removing their drive to reproduce they can focus on combat better.

No body temperature: In order for these enhancements to work, the preexisting soldier is going to have to unfortunately die. The said formula brings them back, better, and stronger than they were before. Unfortunately it does not make them able to make body heat again.

Weakened state of mind: Now you don't want your soldiers disobeying orders right? Introducing hypno shades. Slap these babies onto your now sanitized soldier and you can program them to do whatever you like without them asking questions. Mind controlling your soldiers also completely reduces the risk of them getting PTSD.

Free food: A common question asked in army making is: how are you going to feed your soldiers? Easy, make them make food with the sun. While it may turn them green like a plant, don't mind it. Hope you like underdressed soldiers, because more open skin means more food.

With soldiers like this, you would be unstoppable right?
