I have been wanting to do a code 3 with Amanda as well, but I don't think you can name 2 deviations with the same name, so we have Ladder One.

I have been watchin' a lot of ride along videos of fire trucks responding to calls, YouTube was recommending them to me after I watched a few videos of what its like to be on the trailer of a tiller ladder truck. I speak from experience, it is a very special feeling to be in a emergency vehicle going code, if you like adrenaline rushes, have fun. Said experience is I have gone on a few calls with my dad in his tahoe, one call was a motorcycle accident, a bike pulled out in front of a truck pulling a boat. Everyone was fine.

Those reflective rings on their turnout gear... Its a hassle to put them in, they are just discs with a really white color, but they have to be just a tad thicker than the clothes.

I have also learned a few things from those ride along videos and my step dad. The drivers of fire trucks are known as engineers, 90% of the time engineers do not leave the truck, so I screwed up on that with the On A Call With Amanda story. The person who sits in the passenger is always the captain, and the horn we all hear them blow is controlled by the captain, not the driver. Now that you are aware of this, go fact check other people's firefighter OCs and stories.

It is also VERY INFURIATING, when ignorant dumbasses don't move out of the way of a emergency vehicle going code, it drives Amanda insane, it drives me insane, and everyone else who drives emergency vehicles.
