I fear I am the person to swim against the stream, but I think that 35mm would have been better in this shot; I'd love to see a version without the guy but with the girls and the man with the sign! Nevertheless, I like the scene, the carnival-like feeling of it. Wonderful photo!

Not to be a cynic, but do you think ones looking to support the people of New Orleans by buying a magazine are going to want a photo like this?
Don't get me wrong, your work is great *Trueblood , but this photo wouldn't be *my* first pick for a book to support the disaster.
