The sketches for an adoptable I purchased a while back from you can see the original here:I added some thunderbolts to make it a dual flying/electric type.

What color scheme will you use the main colors I could think of is yellow or blue lightning with white or dark greyish cloud.

Yeah I agree, I was thinking white /grey clouds with yellow lightning. I will probably reserve the blue or add purple for the shiny colours and make the clouds golden

There are less cloud whales than I thought there would be actually, but there are a couple... I didn't find any combined with electricity though so hopefully it remains distinct 
You should be ok to hug them... as long as you don't squeeze too tight

Yeah, if it's not original I tend to try not to do it if possible though generally i find when you get a good idea, lots of people seem to come up with a similiar one at more or less the same time
