Nettad live in damp and humid rainforests and exist on a diet of small poisonous bugs, causing their bodies to be filled with toxin - they are deadly when consumed, though they are harmless to touch unless startled or frightened which causes their tails to inflict a painful stinging rash.

Active hunters, Dartoad use their tails as cover to blend in with their surroundings, concealing themselves from their prey. Their suction-cupped hands and feet combined with their light weight make them swift hunters, able to cling to the underside of leaves and branches to gain higher ground.

There is an old tale that says Amphibio are relatives of Croaking, but they were banished from the fairy frog's society into the jungle for their violent behaviour and their evolutionary line took a different turn to suit their surroundings. Amphibio stealthily hunt in co-ordinated groups, taking down prey much larger than them with deadly poisons from their body. Their tongues are made of sectioned cartilage which Amphibio have great muscle control over, snapping the sections together to create a pipe shape which they use as a biological blowgun for their toxic saliva.
