Description Juna slept soundly, curled into a comfortable ball well into the morning. She had been out almost all night with Tyrone and felt a new feeling of contentment she had never experienced before. She was able to let her walls down and be herself in all its entirety around Tyrone and he too had seemed to reciprocate her feelings. She found herself realizing why Jayla had been the way she was with Jason when they were teenagers, she had been in love. As she happily dreamed about her memories of her night, her sleep was disturbed by a loud roar echoing from outside. She sleepily sat up as it registered that Fang was calling a meeting. After getting a long stretch, she drowsily padded towards the clearing where she could already see her other sleepy pridemates gathering around in an open crescent shape. The sun appeared to have barely risen as it began to light up the barren earth and had not yet reached the tops of the trees surrounding the central yet. Juna suddenly came back to reality as she was surprised to see Quarro and Zacia standing next to Fang and Jino. However... where was Jayla and Jason?

Her blood ran cold as she immediately assumed the worse, did they get caught? Was she about to witness another brutal execution just like what had happened to Jayla's grandmother? Before long, Fang cleared his throat and began to speak, "It appears our clan has been infested with traitors for a while now and it is time they are given their rightful punishment. As you all are aware, my son Jason and his two comrades here set off with the former princess to gather herbs for the pride many days ago. These two are the only two who have returned and empty-pawed. Why don't you both explain yourselves?" His sharp gaze honed in on Quarro and Zacia and Quarro found himself hesitantly speaking first, "Sir, we are not sure if this was planned from the beginning but Jayla did manage to escape us and Jason went along with her. We don't know if he went chasing after her or not but from the looks of it... he might have been actually helping her..." Fang's claws unsheathed as he snarled in anger, "And how could you be so sure? My son is one of my most loyal subjects, what makes you both doubt his loyalty?" This time, Zacia spoke up, "When we tracked their scents, they could be clearly traced both together around the same time, surely if he was tracking her we're sure her scent would have picked up more stale..." Fang began to pace around angrily and smacked a small rock, sending it flying, as he tried to vent out his frustration. "That little tramp, I should have known better than to send the two of them together. To think that boy has changed must have been my biggest mistake yet, he is just like his mother!" He finally sat down and took a long deep breath as he attempted to redeem his composure in front of his clan. Jino came from behind him and began to speak in a cool tone, as if trying to distract everyone from Fang's outburst.

"Now, the real problem at hand and the reason we have called this meeting together is that today, it has been brought to our attention someone has been keeping secrets from us for a long time. Kijani, would you step forward please?" All eyes fell on the older lioness who was sitting beside her twin sister. It was evident that fear ebbed her gaze as she slowly made her way to the center of the gathered circle of lions. She stopped a few feet away from Jino and Fang with her ears pinned down, however Juna could not tell if this was out of fear or submission. "Is it true you had relations with a male outside of our clan, a male that was without doubt considered a threat or rival to your clan?"  The color from Kijani's face left as she realized someone must have overheard and ratted her secret out. She stayed silent for a long moment and just as Jino was about to repeat himself she let out a sigh, "Yes, it's true, I admit it." Juna could hear a few gasps from some of Fang's rogues yet her attention was fixated on Tyrone. Did he actually stab her in the back and tell her secret to his father? She tried to catch a glimpse of him and could see his figure behind Jino yet she could not make eye contact with him as his gaze was fixated on the floor. "I see... Juna, come forward." All eyes locked onto her and she could feel her heart racing faster and faster. She slowly made her way to stand besides Kijani, trying to not let her nerves get the better of her. "Is it also true that this is the result of your relations? The healer of the pride lions?"  Kijani did not make eye contact let alone look at Juna. She nodded and quietly mumbled "Y-yes sir." Juna realized she was trying to bite back tears but Fang's piercing glare clearly lacked sympathy. "Do you all agree that these two deserved to be banished? Clearly this has been a secret for quite a while now." His gaze traced the circle of lions as if he was searching for any objection yet no one dared make a sound. As soon as he averted his gaze back to Kijani and Juna, to everyone's shock, Husuda had pushed through the crowd, "Hold on, that's not fair! That mistake was so long ago and we have proven over and over again how loyal we are to our clan! Her daughter didn't even know she was her kin until now!" She growled, standing defensively between Fang and Kijani. "It's true, Juna had no idea about it." To everyone's surprise, Tyrone had taken a few steps forward to stand besides his father. "Please, Juna doesn't deserve this. She's our only healer too, what's going to happen to us if any of us get sick or injured?" He tried to stand protectively in front of Juna and Jino but Fang began to cackle, "Oh this is just rich, your son has feelings for this lowly pride lioness!" Jino looked at both Tyrone and Juna and was clearly appalled as he fought to find words. "Fang," Husuda started as she inched closer to Fang with a look of desperation in her eyes. "Please don't do this, my sister realized her mistakes and it's in the past. Please don't do this to her, or to me? I thought we meant more to you than that, we've been by your side through thick and thin for so long! I-I love you!" Husuda pleaded, tears dripping down her cheeks. Fang clearly pondered his options for a moment as he stared at both sisters for a long while before seeming to grow acutely aware all eyes were on him. He turned on his heel sharply as he paced around, lashing his tail irritably. "Get out. Both of you. The healer can stay because we need her but we do not tolerate any kind of betrayal, do you all understand?!" Fang roared and Husuda and Kijani's jaws dropped in horror. Quarro and Zacia's jaws also hung open in shock; they had helped raise the two ever since they were cubs. "N-No! You can't do that! They're practically like our family!" Zacia cried out but Fang snapped back immediately, "Yes I can! All of you, chase them out at once before I do it myself!" Members from the clan immediately began to crowd and snap at the sisters' heels, forcing them with no choice but to run out. However, it was obvious they were all shaken up by the lack of any empathy from their leaders. Juna felt helpless as her world spun. Through the commotion she managed to slip away back to her den in tears. Her mother and aunt did not deserve this fate, not a single soul did. And what about Jayla and Jason? Were they working together? Was Jayla alright? Where did they go?
