So, this weekend I wore the Edward costume to a convention. Though some details were still missing and I unfortunantly only had a picture of the back where some stuff was still disordered, I couldn't wait to upload this submission. Better pictures will probably aviable at the end of the week. Have fun with them
. On a personal note, I won't be able to put time in this hobby for about ten weeks, so don't expect to many huge updates in the near future.
Don't use this picture without permission, I rather don't see it floating around the Internet, thanks in advance!

Just out of curiosity what type of fabric did you use for the red sash? It seems like such an easy piece but if I use the wrong fabric it could easily throw off the look of the entire costume. I was thinking of using muslin, but it looks like you used something a bit thicker.

You should go and look for curtain and furniture fabrics. I got some rough textures curtain fabric at my local home design depot.
The store I went to sells left overs for 3 euro's, which makes them pretty cheap

do you have any pattern? would looove to make one by myself but I am not really good in firing out how oe it.
but if i would have all the pattern i could do it easy in 2 weeks time and that what i would need to have it...

Thanks. The way to make it look worn is by weathering it. I use sandingpaper and acrylic paint for that

Tandy isn't a bad start, but it can get pricey. Re-purposing leather is best for cost. Thrift shops and the like.Β
You could also try calling up a vehicle manufacturer( like motorcycles) for excess or junk leather they need disposed of.Β

Haha, well the cheap way, old couches, cheap curtain left overs (3 euro for 2 x 2 meters). Blue fabric from the tailor store and everything else from a second hand store (belts, sash etc).

Great costume. I love the details you did with vest and vambrace. Is their any chance you will be putting up some templates for the vest and vambrace? Also, what material did you use for the sash?
