Description
This is Tohru Honda from the manga/anime Fruits Basket. She is perhaps the nicest person on the face of the planet. I absolutely adore her character in the series. She is one of the few people outside of the Sohma Family to know about the Sohma Family curse. She lives with Yuki (the Rat), Kyo (the Cat), and Shigure (the Dog).This particular drawing is from Volume 4, page 94. She is at lunch with Ayame (the Snake).

You have to be careful reading mangas, though. They are backwards.

No, they are actually backwards. You read right to left.

You mean as in page layout....so start at back of book first? or in actual spelling?, each word? I'm confused.

XD You start in the back of the book, and the panels are read right to left, but the words are read left to right. You'll get it with practice. Just don't start with one of the REALLY confusing mangas. I started with Fooly Cooly, and let me tell you, I was absolutely lost.

So, then, what would YOU recommend that I search for first, to have a go at it?

Uh...the first thing I read after Fooly Cooly was Fruits Basket (what I drew this picture from). I think most mangas have instructions on how to read them properly.
Fruits Basket is not like most mangas, as far as I'm concerned. This one is more of a romance, and it's not all that violent. It's just a cute story with an awesome plot.

I still haven't read the latest issue. It's been out for a while, and it ends next month, I think! It is such a great manga. I adore it.
