It just occurred to me that the dark colors like the black on Nu Gundam must take a lot of saturation (and time). How do you go about watercoloring super dark things?

Ah. I guess that makes sense. I haven't used watercolor since grade school (I'm a bit clumsy, so it can get messy for me and is not something at the top of my list), so I had no idea there was specialized paper for watercolor. It makes sense that that would exist, though.
