AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I finished it in time somehow
SO we can all agree no more textures for me right? Also I will admit this was gonna be a longer round but it was exhausting me and I needed to get things done so I could get back to thesis work. We all know I prefer this over that but alas. But yeah I guess I could explain the way this round went for a clearer explanation.
As you guys have seen, Jamie hasn't had the easiest life and she's been through a lot over the years. The ranks effects have been making her feel horrible and at this point when the riot starts she just lets loose. She's a very passive and optimistic person normally so she has a lot of untold baggage on her shoulders. So at this point she's been a victim to a lot of stuff and this is her chance to take it. She's not trying to kill anyone so she doesn't think any of her actions today are causing permanent damage. Being of person of impulse and just going with her emotions she buys into this thought. But (by using) Muse she is shown what is doing is very wrong. And it is hurting people and it took someone getting really hurt for her to notice finally. Which is why at the end of it all, she just let's Aidan knock her out. She can't believe or deal with what she did so she opts out of the situation.
Side note I want to clearly point out is any thing I do with Muse is all checked out with his creator. Down to his round outfits to his injuries I clear with her. I know you most of you guys don't know her and she's been too busy to work on rounds but I can't ignore putting some limelight on Jamie's relationship with Muse. But for those who are tired of him this is your lucky day this is essentially will be closing off the "Muse Arc" for the future rounds between his injury and Jamie's guilt.

This whole round was quite powerful. I can understand Jamie more, and I'm glad she realized what was going on at the end. Guess the knockout goes to Aidan, heh. But Mariah getting pissy and being more of a nuisance than any real threat is great XD

Oh wow! God I wish I could have had Jamie monologing in my entry XD She justifies it so well! And I LOVE how much you've got Aidan featured in your entry! You've done him so accurately! I love how much he doesn't give in, he just keeps bouncing back for more! <3 I'm sorry, I feel like I didn't do a good Jamie at all! I did cut a page of their battle in my entry, when I put it back, Jamie will be monologing all over the shop.

LAUGHS nah man it's cool you have fun and amusing stuff in your round LOL You don't need Jamie monologuing about her frustrations. And I told you I was determined to make sure he got a good amount of time since he ended up having to share fight time! Not to mention I'm glad you think he's in character since I always worry if I'm doing other character's justice. And what! How you handled Jamie was totally great in your round, she was kicking all the butt and being a lil shit and that's all I need to make me happy.

Somehow, I knew that your last page is gonna get heavier than the first two, but seriously, this still caught me off-guard. This is great in so many levels..! Aidan wanting to have a one-on-one, Mariah trying to get a bit of retribution for harming her friends (somehow, a bit of Aramis did rub on her here), and Muse trying to set Jamie straight~
And nooooo, please don't close the Muse Arc! or I may resort to doing fanfics on them and you know I'm all about fanfics... but not really. And if I did, I'll be sure to show you first to make sure you approve.
...That last panel, is that Aidan knocking Jamie out with a good ol' knuckle sammich?

Hey I really pushed myself to make this as good as the other two, and even try to out do them! But yeah I'm trying to get used to giving more then one or two people more spotlight, motivation, and even dialogue in my pages. Also yeah I realized I sort of hurt almost all of Mariah's friends in the first round so I thought it would be nice to see her try and get in some sweet revenge~!
I'm shocked people want me to do more? I was really worried, this round especially, that I was often taking too much time on Muse. Character wise it makes total sense since they have a relationship prior to BFOI. But I do feel guilty since Irony is too busy to be able to finish rounds when there are people who caught up that deserve spotlight time. It's very what's good for the audience and what's logical for Jamie's story ahaha;; And omg the idea of someone making a fanfic of mine and Irony's OCs would kill me LOL It would be a wild ride tbh
And yeah I still worry it's too vague that she is knocked out by Aidan at the end;;

Honestly he is. He's been around long enough to know Jamie's got baggage and when she needs to hear how things are. Being more lax out of the pair lets him keep things under control. (Hence why he's here now to stop her because he KNOWS this is not how she would ever behave. Jamie wouldn't hurt a fly and battles for fun, she's lost a lot including her own mon so the fact she's so openly attacking people like this is going to come back and hurt her when things are over ;w; I'm not ready for that moment)
And I did say no more Muse for the other reason that Jamie needs to come to terms with things on her own for once. She's held his hand this whole time, consistently falling back on him. (it reflects the years they've been friends honestly) Which is fine in these past cases but I just feel that she needs to grow a bit on her own and deal with a situation and learn to stand on her own. She has a lot of choices to make after this and I feel dealing with this situation will help her figure herself out more.
Anyway ramble aside (I live for Muse and Jamie's relationship and I do a lot internal character thought sorry ahaha), I'm gonna catch my breath now even though I'm very excited to see what's next for these kids. Seriously thank you for the compliment~
