Roxanna, my what a beautiful name I think
Someone from my past was named Roxanna
I saw her in the tree just….lying there
She had a blanked stare
Probably a haunted stare if you saw her closely
But her white face made her look beautiful
Like an angel that was scared
Everything about her was beautiful
Her long bright brown hair
soft light brown strands fell on her face with haunting green eyes
green like the leaves that awoke from the winter
What haunted me was the bright purple bruise around her neck
What had she done to deserve this
Perhaps a fallen angel that did nothing wrong yet got punished
I can imagine her in heaven looking down on herself with tears running down her cheeks
Why she asked herself, why did I play with her heart
