After training for two years, Carlos adopted the name Crusader and sought out a select few to form a team of heroes to defend Spain against attacks by super beings. He named it Armada and created the complex that would become the team's headquarters thanks to his fortune. A great leader, although with sometimes radical ideas, he has had more than one conflict with heroes from other "friendly" nations.
