Contest entry for the Resident Evil movie. So the title is pretty much a 'in the moment' thing, like he's saying to himself "Ok, on three.." then...boom. Or CHOP! Or whatever..Related content

a critique is not warranted when you are plainly stealing from another's work,making up for the lack of originality and imagination...I would have stated the same in a critique anyhow...not wanting to talk licensing and those matters plainly tell me you think you are above the laws and right's artist's or companies owning said rights have over the art.You along with dozens of others are just plain stealing and the sad thing is that you all know it.Do your own work .

Good art, but the pose is way overdone in this contest. Maybe use a different angle or posture cause evryone has been using this one. good technical skill though

yes but that image is a digital piece of art from the game..therfore somebody else created it first which in turn means it's not yours...hence my comment...draw your own complete image.

I believe it was a screenshot, which makes it fair game, and as for the whole 'somebody else created it first' line: I don't suppose you've ever heard of fan art, least of all artistic license.

artistic license can be a real excuse for being lazy which is the case here..the screen shot you are referring to is an already drawn and colored piece of art which was done by another or many others hands to get the screen shot to what you see on the screen..it is somebody else's work plain and simple.Artistic license does not apply to theft and for you to think so is completely idiotic and you should probably quit before you get into real trouble..If you have any questions regarding creators rights please feel free to hit up the illustraitors and animation guild..our lawyers will have a nice chat with you.Thx

Dude, this work was an amalgamation of experimentation with composition and speed, but of course you took the obnoxious route and decided to insult without insight. I'm fine with criticism believe me, but what you did sir or ma'am, is simply cut down without any actual critique. No one asked for you to look at it, and had you just said something like "Careful with what you use." Or something that reflects your apparent 'manners', I would have responded in a similar fashion. I do not wish to speak on the bureaucracy of licensing so keep that to yourself. I'm not angry so much as insulted, may I ask if you've even looked at my other works? Perhaps to see how my style is? Or to see that I do not 'steal' work. If you have, then maybe I can validate your opinion, 'J'.

He did at least draw it out himself! Even if the pose is waaayy overused in this contest. I believe if it was a straight screenshot, like ones ive seen before, youd have him, but he can copy the image with his own drawing and not get into trouble, even if its not original. Ive actually seen someone use the exact screenshot from the game though and that was stealing. Trxstr will simply be overlooked in the contest.
