Axlork est un double surprise pour les humains : d'abord elle a un satellite noir, en carbone pur et surtout, elle n'a pas d'atmosphère, ni d'océan sous glaciaire, mais elle est habitée. Les insectoïdes qui peuplent ses profondeurs n'ont pas d'yeux et se basent sur les odeurs et les sons pour connaître leur environnement.

The humans were doubly surprised when they discovered Axlork : first, it have a black moon made in pure carbon and second, in spite of no atmosphere and subglaciary ocean, there was life in it. The insectoids who inhabits its dephts doesn't have eyes and use smells and sound to understand their surroundings.
