While the new logo reminded me of Designers Republic for some partial reason, seeing this combined with such vivid and beautiful imagery really makes me appreciate it more. And by more, I mean especially more.

Wow.. I've not seen that before but it is ridiculously similar. And isn't that just great, what is apparently an innovative and unique ART website whose logo is pretty much the same as another logo.

Np, I didn't know this either, someone on Youtube shared that in a discussion about this "new logo". It's funny because DA "worked so hard on the new design of the logo" but actually it already excist. Who knows they just used it and changed it slightly.
I am starting to regret that I bought a premium account, this site is in a downfall.....

So many of us are unhappy with the logo because the final product very bad and doesn't advertise the site very well. DA are trying desperately to get people on their side because of all the negative reaction to it.
DA looks like it is being taken over by some cooperate marketing people, rather than being run by creative people. When your premium account expires, please do not renew it! You will see that very soon this site will find more and more ways to get money and advertise itself, and care less about art, expression and creativity.

The neon green logo doesn't fit with the layout of this site. I don't see how it resembles DA either. I will not renew my account, don't worry. Unless the staff is going to open their eyes and change the site like it was, before al those useless crap they've added.
I stumbled across this on Youtube www.youtube.com/watch?v=8K08yO… This person creates a REAL artwork in less than 20 minutes while the DA Team worked lots of days on a simple logo that already exists. I lolled.

I'm glad you share the point of view! I hope a lot of people open their eyes and do not stand by and let more changes keep happening. I understand changing things sometimes to try and make things better, but the logo was a step too far in my opinion. They ruined the identity of the site.
Wow that video is cool. There are millions and millions of people who are more creative than whoever designed this silly logo. Why didn't they give us a chance to design a logo and have everyone vote on them? To actually engage with the people who are using the site! but no, obviously they don't care what the general users think.
