Great shot. Do you have an assistant to pour the liquid or do you set it running first and then rush round/use a remote to take the picture?

It was a fairly simple process-- camera goes on a tripod, set focus etc, shoot the water with one hand and the camera shutter with the other. It's partly luck, but a stream like this was easier to catch than a single drop.

Without it, the background blends in with the border along the top, and I did think that this really needed a white border to set it off.
