Well, I said we're going to Brighton, so, I went to Brighton, and technically Sharp Steward to give you the B4, built to combat the poor performance of the earlier B2 4-4-0's on top expresses, doing quite well in this task.

They would be replaced later on by the arrival of H1/2 and J1 and J2 on their top link duties, cascading down to semi-fast positions.

A total of six engines lasted in B4 form into BR Days but were gone by 1951, there was also the B4X but they will be getting their own sheet.
