“Any bag of jellybeans would contain its fair share of unique flavours. Alexei can be described as a plain one in comparison to his more colourful or bizarre fellows. While calm and most level-headed out of them all, the gallade is more than happy to take part in whatever activity his family would throw themselves in, either to keep them out of trouble or to find a break in the monotony of pokémon battling.”

Appearance:
Physically, Alexei doesn’t stand out much compared to the average gallade though one may notice he has a less defined hip than others as well as slightly unkempt hair. He wears a scarf around his neck and a galladite strapped onto his arm. His most treasured possession is his white gold wedding ring he wears on his left hand.

Personality:
A courteous Gallade, Alexei is Lector’s 6th closest pokémon and is oldest and not surprisingly, mellowest of them all. Of course, being a part of a family with a mixed bag of emotional unpredictability, Alexei grew a bit of humour during conversations and will always listen to whatever you say to him. He’s currently bondmates with Eleanor and sees Lector as a father-in-law; both respect and fear him for his skills and his lack of mercy towards those who even thinks of harming his family. Regardless, he is very loyal to his family and always puts them first before himself.

History:
Alexei was born at Lake Valor in Sinnoh where her grandmother is the local healer for the native inhabitants. He never knew his father, but was told that he was a brave pokémon and a protector of the local inhabitants before his passing. Inspired by the stories she told him, Alexei worked hard to follow the footsteps of his father. One day, he came across Lector who was training near the lake and challenged him to a fight. He lost as a result, but was both curious about the adventures this group did and was smitten with the gardevoir who patched him up. His grandmother saw this and persuaded Lector to let her grandson join him just so he can be with her and since then, he has been a permanent member in Lector’s team.

Battle style:
“It’s so nice to meet an equal these days.”

A long time martial and mystical practitioner, Alexei favours a more grounded style of pokémon fighting with less emphasis on unconventional thinking and more on sticking to the basics but cranking it up to eleven. That’s not to say he’s too narrow-minded to think outside the box when it suits him, he just doesn’t see it all the time. Being one of the last pokémons Lector has recruited, he’s still getting use to all the eccentric ideas the team may come up with to defeat an opponent. Yet Alexei would try to keep it as simple as possible when it’s easier to swing a fast one to the unprotected liver rather than dance around a guard. Though he’s more likely to get punched back, in a way he usually lasts a bit longer than his fellow teammates who’s frequently puffed out at that point.
