Ability: Not fully aware of having an ability at all, other when it comes to seeing astrals and other oddities. When he screams, tends to crack things with his voice, when feels sad - tends to lower the temperature in the room, when he feels happy - stimulates plant growth. Most notably, though, his pictures tend to move and grow a little bit on their own. Yet all of these are slight things, not easy to notice either by himself or others.

Clive is distrustful of others and tends to assume they are ill-meaning and mean - that is so when it comes to both humans and other creatures. That makes him unfriendly and also avoidant of making any friends - he thinks it wouldn't lead to anything good either way. Due to not being trusted by his own family (namely Grandparents), he is bitter about his life and reality he is forced to see. He pours his emotions out by drawing and can spend hours and hours on a picture, thus being really good at it. He picked up drawing at five and has been spending most of his time sketching - of course, his drawings are childish and rough, but they far surpass those of other kids around him, so Clive is in a drawing contest winning streak among kids his age, yet despite that he does not consider himself to be in any way superior.
Even if it makes his grandparents pissed off, he runs away from home from time to time, going back to his father's apartment. He doesn't clean any of the mess, but merely silently sits near his father, at times sketching. It puts him at ease, even if Clive is not aware that his father's grief is the thing attracting him the most. Even if son's presence is hard and makes his father crave drinking more, his father does not chase Clive away or even call his parents. Clive's grandparents usually arrive in the same evening, though, taking Clive back. Those evenings are always silent and Clive feels better, despite the difficult expressions his relatives show.

Clive's story thus far...
Clive was born to a faerie mother and a human father, while he did not inherit the flowers growing in her hair, he got her eyes and a small gem growing in his body, thus from an early age, Clive could see astrals just like his mother could. His father was unaware, though - both of his wife's peculiar ancestry and her ability.

His mother hid it from her husband, of course, removing flowers from her hair in the morning before he woke and pretending not to see astrals when he was around. Astrals could cause mischief, however, and one time it went wrong and a heavy shelf fell on his mother, killing her when Clive was only four.

After his mother died, Clive got passed over to his father's mother, as his father became a bad drunk, not being able to cope with his dear wife's passing. Clive didn't want to leave his dad, but a child that young is not taken into account when making decisions and thus the boy had to live with his grandmother and grandfather, who not only couldn't see astrals and other oddities but also branded Clive a liar and a bad apple.

Other children didn't make things better, not being able to see and astrals didn't help either - playing tricks on the boy, who could see them. By the age of seven, Clive had a bad reputation of being a freak and distrustful of both humans and astrals alike.
