Alexei: *had been awake for quite some time now, finding himself unable to sleep properly. He walks towards the stairs and sees Neo, a small smile tugging on his lips* good morning, Neo. Did you sleep well?

Neo: Morning~ *smiles* Uh.. sort of, it sure is a mystery why I woke up this early though. *shrugs shoulders with a small smile* How about you?

Alexei: mnn I guess you could say I slept well, yes. *smiles warmly before sitting down beside him* is something troubling you? I do hope you're alright..

Neo: *tilts his head lightly and smiles* You already solved the thing that was troubling me.

Alexei: *he raised his eyebrow, looking at the other curiously.* I... have? Huh,.. how curious. I haven't really done anything though so.. I'm a bit confused. *looks at Neo with a puzzled expression*

Neo: *laughs* The only thing that was troubling me was - being awake and alone here. It isn't fun being alone, not even a single bit.

Alexei: *raises an eyebrow, quite confused about this mentality but chuckles softly anyway* well then, if my company has eased your worries then I am glad to have been able to do just that. I wouldn't mind staying with you a little longer, seeing as I have nothing else to do and would like to get to know you more. *smiles* I'm afraid that, aside from your name I do not know much.

Neo: Knowing my name is a lot, ha ha, I'm not sure if one can get to know others well by simply talking, we should do things together, like... let's go exploring! *suggests with sparkling eyes* Have you been to the sea yet?

Alexei: Ex...ploring? *tilts his head slightly to the side, surprised by Neo's enthusiasm* I.. haven't had the chance to explore the surrounding area but, as you seem so delighted by it, I would very much love to explore with you. *smiles warmly and stands up, brushing the dirt off of his clothes* how do we get there?

Neo: *nods happily and stands up as well, not bothering with brushing anything off* By walking, *answers and starts heading downstairs* It's not very close, but not all that far either. *he says with a smile, then jumps over the last three stair steps*

Alexei: *follows Neo as he listens intently, walking in a calm and even paced manner.* is that so? Well, it doesn't seem like a long walk, but even if it was I wouldn't have mind. *he looks up and at the ceiling before returning his attention to his companion* what is there to do at the Sea that is, erm, fun? I've only ever been on it during my travel here so it wasn't completely enjoyable.

Neo: Lots of things! *a glint of joy passes his eyes* Like swimming and running, and rolling on the shore, and fishing, and playing tag with the waves, and searching for sea-shells, and chasing after seagulls, and digging in the sand, and making sand castles, and did I say swimming?

Alexei: *raises an eyebrow as he turns to look at the other, curious and amused at how happy he seemed* you seem so fond of the sea... do you go there a lot? Although I do have to admit that the picking of sea-shells is making me rather.. erm, excited. I do enjoy collecting little things. *smiles*

Neo: I haven't been on the shore, which is near the house yet, but I grew up by a sea, so... yes, I love it! Sea it wonderful! *love glistens in his eyes, and he almost trips over his own feet, while heading to the front door* Ha ha, *opens the doors and heads outside - the air is a bit chilly this early in the morning, but the sun has just raised, casting brightly yellow light on the surroundings - illuminating the dew, making it sparkle. Neo's breath turns into steam and a shiver runs over him, but he smiles and stretches his arms up sunbathing for a couple of moments, before glancing back at Alexei.*

Alexei: Ah.. is that so? It must have been fun then. *he gives the other a small smile, his eyes widening slightly as the other almost tripped. Soon enough though they were greeted by the cool air. Alexei loved the cold, loved when he could see his breath as the cool wind tickled his skin. He took off the scarf he wore and wrapped it around Neo's neck, his smile slightly bigger than the first* You will probably need it more than I do, so I hope it helps you somehow.

Neo: *feels that the scarf is warm and smiles gratefully* Thank you! *glances at Alexei questioningly then* Won't you be cold though?

Alexei: *chuckles softly and shakes his head, flashing the other a rare and rather playful smile* I love the cold too much and I believe I've grown immune, so I will be alright Neo. Thank you all the same for asking though!

Neo: *smiles back, thankful for the scarf and starts confidently walking towards the forest.* You come from a cold place, *states more than asks, remembering the memory of snow he happened to take a glimpse at, without intending to*

Alexei: Ah, yes. I do come from a cold place. *he nods in response opening his mouth before closing it* it's a place pretty far away from here, I think. How about you? Where do you come from?

Neo: I come from a place pretty close from here, there's a village by this same sea a bit to the north. *smiles* So I'm pretty familiar with both the weather and the sea of this place, though I do wonder how the beach here looks like. *eyes sparkle*

Alexei: Oh? Is that so? *tilts head slightly to the side as he looks at Neo curiously* somewhere close by, you say? I hadn't realized there would be a village close to here. I'm curious as to what it looks like and how the people are... although I'm not so sure I've got any other expectations of humans but it's worth seeing... *he muttered the latter mostly to himself before shaking his head, making their way to the beach* I do hope they've got a lot of shells. I really really want to collect a few. Perhaps I could even mail some to Jaabir *smiles fondly*

Neo: Sort of close by, if one walked, it would take like three days to get there, *smiles* so perhaps it's not as close. The town of Degate is a lot closer than that village is. The people in that village are... well, like people usually are, the first time I actually met them was pretty recently, but they sure were hostile. *gives a meek smile, before his thoughts turn to shells* Jaabir?

Alexei: Ah--- I think I'd rather avoid that than experience it for myself.. *shakes his head before his expression softened into a warmer one* ah.. Jaabir was, mnn... to say, like my father. He took care of me and practically raised me. He's a wonderful man... I regret having left him the--- *he cut himself off and turned to look away, clenching his fists tightly, sighing soon after as his shoulders slumped. He then returned his attention to Neo, a small smile on his face* long story short, I care about him... quite a lot.

Neo: *listens to him carefully, observing Alexei as he does* I see, I hope he'll like the shells you find then. *smiles childishly* Let's find a lot! *nods, looking straight ahead, the air salted to carry a salty scent as they walked on*

Alexei: *he was surprised at the other's enthusiasm but for some odd reason it was contagious and soon enough he was smiling too* I do hope so as well! Let's do our best to look for lovely shells. I do hope there will be a lot of them. *Alexei took a deep breath, sighing in content* I can smell the ocean... it's wonderful.

Neo: Riiight~ *agrees with a grin, his canine teeth showing and he starts skipping a bit while walking. The closer they come, the more pronounced the salty scent in the air gets. The wind is taking on in strength as well, carrying with it the sound of waves hitting the shore*

Alexei: *his curiosity gets piqued, his ears twitching as he hears the waves crashing on the rocks by the shore. With a slight tilt of his head Alexei increases his walking speed, urging Neo to follow him as he quickly made his way to the shore, soon arriving at a clearing, getting surprised as his foot sank an inch as he stepped on the soft sand* a-ah.. sand... how.. interesting. *a small smile tugged on his lips as he crouched and gathered a bunch of sand in his hand letting it slip through his fingertips.* ah.. how odd.. it's so smooth.

Neo:*runs after him and as soon as they arrive flops down in the sand* Of course it's smooth. *happily rolls in the sand, like a dog would* Saaaaand, *presses his cheek to it* I missed you.

Alexei: *he raised an eyebrow, looking at Neo with mixed puzzlement and curiosity. It was rather odd.. seeing someone he was beginning to respect do such a thing, but it did seem like he was having fun... and fun was clearly something Alexei lacked in his life. He cautiously sat down, his tail lazily swaying from left to right as the sand tickled him.* this... isn't so bad at all. *soon just casually falls onto the sand, coughing a bit and spitting out a bit of sand. It was warm but not in the way Alexei hated but in a nice and rather comforting way* ah..! I... I like this. *he smiles serenely and stretches, yawning*

Neo: Mhm, sand is nice~*rolls around a bit more, before sitting up now fully energized. Takes off his boots and stands up* Let's go hunt for some shells, then? *asks enthusiastically*

Alexei: *was still laying down comfortable on the sand, sitting up with a bit of reluctance once Neo had suggested they began their hunt* mmnn, alright then. *he lazily stood up, brushing the sand off of his clothes and looking around* where do you think they would have some good ones?

Neo: *smiles rolling up his sleeves* By the very shore, so get ready to be wet! *grins, standing on the sand now barefoot and sleeves rolled up, completely prepared for the task*

Alexei: Oh--! Well.. alright then. *he gingerly took off his shoes and his socks, exposing the snow white skin as he let his feet get used to the feeling of the sand. He chuckled softly, it tickled to stand on it barefooted.* alright, I'm ready. *he said with a smile, rolling up his sleeves as well, very much excited to go and pick up some shells despite the lack of emotion on his face*

Neo: All right then! *runs to the shore and after running a bit from the waves, heads in till his knees, walks a bit and bends down to pick up one nice, thumb sized pink shell* Mhm, *nods* this is around the best place for searching them here as well, very close to the shore, where waves carry them.

Alexei: *he walks closer to where Neo is, glaring at the water for a short while before finally stepping into it, a shiver going down his spine as the waves and cold temperature tickled his skin. He looked closely at the shell, tilting his head slightly to the side before he took it from Neo smiling at it* it's a beautiful shell and I can not wait to find more *bends down and picks up another shell, white with a nice and faint shine to it* what do you think?

Neo: Whoa! It's lovely. *nods happily and searches for more, both arms in the water - finds a bunch of tiny shells with various patterns* Are these also good? *asks, handing them to Alexei*

Alexei: *his eyes widened as Neo plunged his arms into the water, wondering how someone who wasn't as used to the cold as he was could do just that without freezing even if just a little. Nevertheless, he appreciated how much help he was being offered and a warm smile tugged on his lips. However, it disappeared almost as soon as it came, and he returned his attention to his companion.* hmmn? Oh--! these look wonderful, yes. I like them. *he gave a curt nod and took the shells, glad that he had a satchel with him as he placed them all there.*

Neo: *continues searching, having a life guard dog as a root, meant he would be naturally good with water in any conditions. Brings up a bunch of pink and orange curved shells* Are these good? *asks, his tail slightly wagging*

Alexei: *he looked at the pink and orange shells, noting how beautifully odd their colors were and took them from Neo, placing them inside his satchel as he gave the other a gentle smile* yes, yes I think these are wonderful. You seem to be pretty good at this. *he complimented chuckling softly as he noticed how his companion's tail wagged*

Neo: *smiles from the praise* I have lived by the sea my whole life, so... *continues searching then* How much more do you need? *has found one big and white one*

Alexei: Have you, now? How interesting. I bet it was peaceful. *he said softly, looking out and at the horizon with much interest before looking into his bag.* it seems as if a few more and this will be enough. *he said with a smile, taking the other shell and turning it in his hand* this one is exquisite! I think this is my favorite one *chuckles*

Neo: Mhm, *smiles* I loved that time. It got pretty crazy in storms and such, but - overall it was very peaceful - in heart. *puts his hand on his chest, then brushes the memory away before it could turn bad and continues searching for shells* Tee hee, *tail wagging from the praise, even if it was the shell being praised. Finds a bunch of small, stripped ones in brown tones and gives them to Alexei*

Alexei: *he noticed how Neo had abruptly stopped and despite his curiosity didn't press further for any more information. At the mention of the heart though the boy couldn't help but look at the other curiously* What... what is it like.. to feel at peace in heart? *he asked, taking the shells and slipping them into his bag* ah, we have enough thank you.

Neo: To feel at peace in heart is like - you are together with others and you feel that it will be okay as long as you are together with them. I think with some time we will become a group like that too. *smiles warmly, then nods at his thanks and goes out of the water, running from the waves at the shore for a while, completely distracted by them.*

Alexei: I-is that so... *and after what felt like a long time, Alexei was caught off guard and he felt a little pain in his heart. He was curious about the feeling, and at the same time realized just how much he longed for it. He looked up and at the horizon, noticing how Neo was running from the waves causing a smile to tug on his lips* I.. do hope you're right and we will become a group like that too.

Neo: *Alexei's voice distracts him from the waves and he steps back into the sand* We will, I'm sure of it. *smiles and runs about a bit for his feet to dry off*
Alexei: *Neo's reassurance relieved him although he couldn't explain why. He chuckled softly and sat down on the sand, gathering a bunch in his hands and letting it trickled down through the gaps in his fingers* The beach is absolutely breathtaking. Thank you for taking me here, Neo

Neo: *runs around for a while, happy about the feeling of sand under his feet* Nu-huh, thank you for coming with me! *grins* I love beach, *flops down in the sand and rolls in it for a while like a happy puppy, then sits up* I've had my fill, *looks like he had a good meal, but in a short while his stomach rumbles* Want to head back? *laughs* The breakfast should be ready soon.

Alexei: A-ah... y-you're welcome, I guess. *he wasn't so sure why he was being thanked but replied positively either way. At the sound of Neo's grumbling stomach though, Alexei realized that he too was rather hungry* I.. hadn't realized how hungry I had gotten.. *he said simply, getting up and patting the dust off of his shorts* I think you're right and we should head back now.

Neo: Me neither, *laughs, puts on his boots, ties the laces and stands up, shakes a bit like a dog would when it's wet, but in this case, he simply got rid of the sand stuck on his clothes, hair, tail and ears. He then started to head back, skipping a bit, but properly taking notice if Alexei is keeping up.*

I think with some time we will become a group like that too. *smiles warmly, then nods at his thanks and goes out of the water, running from the waves at the shore for a while, completely distracted by them.*

Alexei: I-is that so... *and after what felt like a long time, Alexei was caught off guard and he felt a little pain in his heart. He was curious about the feeling, and at the same time realized just how much he longed for it. He looked up and at the horizon, noticing how Neo was running from the waves causing a smile to tug on his lips* I.. do hope you're right and we will become a group like that too.

Neo: *Alexei's voice distracts him from the waves and he steps back into the sand* We will, I'm sure of it. *smiles and runs about a bit for his feet to dry off*
Alexei: *Neo's reassurance relieved him although he couldn't explain why. He chuckled softly and sat down on the sand, gathering a bunch in his hands and letting it trickled down through the gaps in his fingers* The beach is absolutely breathtaking. Thank you for taking me here, Neo

Neo: *runs around for a while, happy about the feeling of sand under his feet* Nu-huh, thank you for coming with me! *grins* I love beach, *flops down in the sand and rolls in it for a while like a happy puppy, then sits up* I've had my fill, *looks like he had a good meal, but in a short while his stomach rumbles* Want to head back? *laughs* The breakfast should be ready soon.

Alexei: A-ah... y-you're welcome, I guess. *he wasn't so sure why he was being thanked but replied positively either way. At the sound of Neo's grumbling stomach though, Alexei realized that he too was rather hungry* I.. hadn't realized how hungry I had gotten.. *he said simply, getting up and patting the dust off of his shorts* I think you're right and we should head back now.

Neo: Me neither, *laughs, puts on his boots, ties the laces and stands up, shakes a bit like a dog would when it's wet, but in this case, he simply got rid of the sand stuck on his clothes, hair, tail and ears. He then started to head back, skipping a bit, but properly taking notice if Alexei is keeping up.*
