My attempt at concept art. I think I can do better. Just got to practice some more.I'm a snowboarder and I wanted to paint a concept snow track that I wish exists. Not extreme enough.

It may not be extreme enough (for you, plenty for me, heck, I don't even snowboard) but its still pretty rad.

not bad. i like the colours, and the contrast is nice too. you should use reference pictures. helps a lot while you're still learning and later when you work professionally. don't copy the reference exactly like it is, change some things, use it for perspective and colours etc. also it's very useful to sketch your work on paper first, and then scan it or take a photo of it, and paint digitally. good luck

Thanks for the critique, I'll keep in mind your advice and use some references next time. In this speed painting I was challenging myself to create something without references. Might need to try it again with references.

well you are going the right way, trying to create something without any ref is a challenge to test your skills. you should really do that again after few speed paintings when using references
