I really feel bad for both Blaze and Trent, they don't get much lime light as Red does (or even Luthio for that matter... and he hasn't even shown up yet XD ). (What can I say, I love drawing guys more than gals >_>; sorry Eliza.
Forgive me!!! ) This was a picture I had sitting on my computer back in February... just now I found it and finished it up.Yeah, that's Blaze... X3 I want to keep improving on my painting skills... I tried some different stuff here. *shrug* I kinda like how it came out... even though it's a bit more red than I had it originally. XD I hope it doesn't burn the eyes too much. X3

It's a gorgeous work. I like how even though it's filled to the brim with warm/hot colors it's not offensive. I think it's the purplish red background color you used. It alleviates the eyes from the harsher red used for the sheets, his hair, the border, and the petals. Those items take a lot least space than the calmer color so there's balance. The gold of his monocle and the green of his eyes are each like an oasis a small break from the redness so it's one can go back and wonder over the composition. I like the angle his face is at as well as how his in positioned to the viewer. And the hair is lovely flowing and very realistic. I'm slightly unsure about his shoulder, the roundness of his shoulder and how it flows to his back. Blaze gave me the impression of being a bit broader at his shoulders than his brother and here he seems a bit slim. That could be my mistake/misunderstanding but is only a slight thing. It's one of my favorite works you've down with your "Stray Love" OCs. Keep it up. #1

=O Wow, thankya! XD Yeah, his shoulder should be a little bit broader, you judged correctly... but I was more focused on doing his face and hands that I overlooked that detail. =/ But hopefully I'll get better at this painting stuff that I won't just concentrate on one or two areas more than the rest... it all comes down to practice! XD I hope to do more of this kind of stuff with the other characters from Stray Love. :3
