Here's the picture of Mulan I drew for my english teacher, but now it's colored.holy cow, did this take me forever to do! it turned out pretty well, considering this is my first peice of art that i actually did with a background xD but i can see many flaws. well, there's always room for improvement.
Disney owns Mulan.

Beautiful composition. I'm a larger fan of Mu-Lan of the original legend rather than the watered-down Disney version, but admittedly...I did love this scene. I love the expression you gave her in this piece. It really says it all -- the determination, the sense of sacrifice, the transformation of identity, the sadness in the knowledge that she had to leave and may never return, etc.
