Description After watching the last movie of Spiderman, I came up with this timeline of Spider-Man characters best known of all the animated series and films of the arachnid. ((The compilation of the Spiderman take them out of SashCoon  at All Spider-Man ).
))
1) Spider-Man (1967-1970)
2) The Amazing Spider-Man (1977-1979)
3) Supaidâman (1978-1979)
4) Spider-Man (1981-1982), Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends (1981-1983)
5) Spider-Man (1994-1998)
6) Spider-Man Unlimited (1999-2001)
7) Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004), Spider-Man 3 (2007)
8) Spider-Man: The New Animated Series (2003)
9) The Spectacular Spider-Man (2008-2009)
10) Ultimate Spider-Man (2012)
11) The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
12) Spider-Man Homecoming (2017)
________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Even though I love the Sam Rami movies, the new kid's not bad.

There are some characters of Spider-Man from animated series and films that I approve.

1) Spider-Man (1967-1970) Mary Jane, even if she had a brief cameo.

2) Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends (1981-1983) Peter, there's also Sally Avril and the brute Flash Thompson.

3) Spider-Man (1994-1998) Aunt May, Gwen, and even Jameson especially when he's not as load and oblivious like the original.

4) Spider-Man Unlimited (1999-2001) The Spider suit made from nanobots.

5) Spider-Man (2002) Peter being bitten by a genetically engineered spider instead of a radioactive one and gain organic web along with his other powers.

6) The Spectacular Spider-Man (2008-2009) Liz Allan, especially when she's made Hispanic in this one.

The only one who had used the majority of Peter's traditional cast thus far has been the Spectacular Spider-man animated show.  That was a good show with good storylines and well use and charazations of the cast made.

Yes, that was my favorite series (second place is 1994). I hate that they canceled it, for ultimate, that I did not get to like it.
Apart from its introduction song is fantastic.

Unfortunately due to 'death by red tape' no company could continue it on TV (Sony still could on blu-ray and DVDs I think due to the conditions.)

Sony was in a bad place and had lost tons of money about 10 years ago.  When Disney bought Marvel they made a term that they were willing to honor all deals Marvel has with other companies.  Sony however saw this as a good time to make money to help their stock books and contacted Disney to sell Spider-man TV rights which wasn't as profitable as the movie rights (even thought Amazing series was a profit it didn't hit the goals they were hoping for thus Sony executives was sweating a bit to make money before being fired)
They sold the rights to have Spider-man TV shows and the merchandise rights to Disney however kept the movie rights and the rights on Spectacular Spider-man show (Desings, plots, storylines, you name it)
Spider-man being in the MCIU is a miracle as Sony still has the movie rights so with the deal Disney made just to have Spidey in the MCU even though the latest Spider-man movie it takes place in the MCU Disney will not make any money from the box office but Sony will take it all.  Disney however will make money on the merchandise it can sell from this movie.

Disney loved Spectacular but couldn't make any new episodes due to the 'red tape'.  Possible they could of worked out a deal (however Greg the showrunner said that Sony was asking for just too much that even Disney back off and decided to just make something new).

Ultimate improved around season 3 but the beloved characters and engaging storylines and life of Peter Parker and his cast was far better on Spectacular.  There was many things they could of done (and things I hoped they learned from the mistakes of Ulitmate for the next upcoming show).
