ToS Huggy: Colored.I changed the title because it suited it more. I also messed around with coloring styles.
I'm so lazy.... I can't even make a NICE LOOKING crappy background.
I was supposed to be doing homework.... and drawing something else.... but this was bugging me since I'd already started coloring it a week ago, and since it was open on the desktop, I decided to finish it before working on other stuff..... Which is why for the past 3 hours or so I've been scrambling to finish homework.
Next on the "drawings to finish" list..... the K!Trio.

Favorite game EVER. And Zelos is my favorite character XD. I love the Tales video game series as a whole though. That's always neat, running into fans of stuff that you like even if you met them through a different fandom.

Awesome! Yeah Zelos was definitely one of my top faves. ( I had a super soft spot for Kratos though) Ive been dying to play Tales of the Abyss but havent had the money to get it xD And I know, right? Its weird when you find people you meet from other fandoms happen to have the same interests as you in other ways. Lots o fun XD

I liked Kratos as a character very much but some of my initial view of him was marred by crazy Kratos fangirls/Zelos bashers. When I first got into the game I unfortunately ran into too many people who openly hated Zelos and would take the route where you killed him just for the sake of killing him. They'd also argue about why Kratos was more awesome and stuff, often with little good reason other than that Kratos was "cooler". It made me sick. Poor Zelos dealt with more than enough crap in his life and I was disheartened that so many people didn't see that or chose not to see it (though I suppose part of the fault comes from the fact that Zelos's past wasn't something that was mandatorily discussed in the game aside from a few hints). Thankfully I now realize that people like that aren't worth getting all upset over, and can enjoy the characters more on my own terms.
Tales of the Abyss had a great plotline, maybe you can find a used copy? I've also been playing Tales of Vesperia.... which unfortunately is only in english on the stupid Xbox DX. It's a shame cuz' ToV has AWESOME visuals and another great cast of characters.
Yeah, it's fun because then you can find more things to discuss!

Yeah, I realized that a lot of people were Kratos crazy after I got into the fandom.
I actually was lucky that my fiance at the time had already beaten the game and told me I had to make sure I didn't kill Zelos. I'm terrible about getting optional characters in games (I'm so dense about it). For example: FFVII, the first time I played it, I totally didn't get Vincent because I didn't know you could only get him during the first disc. /wrists. Ugh. But yeah, I agree, Zelos has had to go through a lot more in his life than Kratos. Plus! I think the scary thing is, I remember how people used to ship (and still do) Lloyd and Kratos, which kinda made me drift away from Kratos a bit xD (I honestly think I loved him so much for his clothes, I love to Cosplay, and I always wanted to make his outfit.)
I hear ToA is supposed to be really great (a friend of mine won't stop raving about it). My big issue, is the lack of money right now, I had to scrounge 6 dollars to see a movie the other day, and unfortunately even used games are anywhere between 15 and 30 dollars now a days. But, one of these days I'll definitely have to go get a hold of it. I was very disappointed at ToV being only on X-box over here! The same friend I mentioned before has a 360 (lucky woman!) and she's said that it's absolutely gorgeous, and totally worth playing. I wouldn't buy and x-box specifically for it though. Although, if the Japanese version wasn't so darn expensive I'd probably just go for that one. It seems all the 'Tales of' games seem to always have such well thought through story-lines and in-depth character development, I think that's why I love them so much.

My ToS OTP? -3- Hm... Dunno. I mean, there are kind of cute pairings, but none of them that make me ridiculously happy (like LukeTear <3). Lloyd and Colette are SUPER CUTE in the OVA, though~~~

Yesh, they are so.... FLUFFY in the OVA! I mean, like, the cuteness got amped up more than ust a few notches, I think.
Yes, we like Luke/Tear too ^_^ They are one of the few "main" pairs that I really like, in terms of video games.

I actually dislike how I drew Zelos's hair (looks... weird) but I was already done inking at the time and was way too lazy to fix it.

Funny how things work... the original sketch started out as just Sheena, who I drew for stress relief, and then I though "hey, why not add Zelos!" and so I did. I didn't think it'd wind up as one of my colored pics!
Now that I look at Zelos though, he seems sort of... plain. I Think it's because I skipped out on drawing either his vest or gloves cuz' I was too lazy, but Zelos just doesn't look right in just plain black and white (and gold, if you count the trimming and boots)

Heh, I kinda like it. It makes him more distinct, and kinda more endearing. Much as I love his cute little pink getup, he looks more natural with the lack thereof. It fits his obvious male-driven tendency here.

Well, it should be noted that Sheena too doesn't have her gloves. This is probably when the gang is relaxing or taking a breather or something and Zelos suddenly grabs her from behind for a hug.
