I'm loving this style ...
These are my two lion cubs Nahlem (left) and Klea (right). They're modeled after figurines I have (for I collect them!!!), and I thought it would be fun to draw them. I LOVE Nahlem's baby face! XD And yes, lions can make that face ... I used a picture as reference, but he looks much happier.
They've caught a dragonfly, which brings them so much amusement. ^.^ And yes, the sky is purple. Don't know if it's that noticable ... but I felt like purple skies!Done in Prismacolor pencils.

im a supermod for a catgroup and if i am not flooded with warrior cats fan art
its with lion king styled derived art
so to see lions that are not based on that movies is a breath of fresh air and
...god one just yawned in my face ...urgh

they are gorgeous & collect tiger figures but I do have a couple lion figers but I suck at drawing in general i couldn't even attempt this & I have photographed dragonflies but I wasn't aware they lived in africa (i can tell these aren't indian lions cause the trees are african)
