Description For 's contest.

My song theme was Blurry by Puddle of Mudd, which somewhat fit what I was feeling recently (in a slightly more angry way). Therefore, symbolic picture using my wolfsona. :3

The song mentions too many fake, empty people, and how hard to live without those who aren't. While I'm not necessarily surrounded by fake people, I find the people I meet to usually be too ... normal, as if they've altered their interests to fit in and that's all they want to do/talk about. It's kind of disconcerting, knowing that I'm a minority personality. But one of my best friends left for the year, so after being fairly dependent on his company for so long, it's very strange to live without him. What does this have to do with the picture? The nega-wolves in the background represent the fake people, which Rae is trying to flee from. Sadly, she'll probably only find more no matter which direction she runs, and the many puddles can only offer a blurry reminder of what's already gone. I liked using so much brown for this ... dull picture = dull world. Sounds so depressing, but I was quite happy while I was drawing this.

Even if I don't win this round, I'm happy with the results!

Everything from the anatomy of Rae, to the look of the fake "people" is perfect. I love the color scheme, and the panicky, fearful emotion.

I did a piece recently with a wolf skiddishing (not a word >.>) away. You totally got what I was aiming for. The enlarged eyes, The pulled back lips, the fearful position of the tail. Amazing. Her front right paw is probably my favorite. It looks real o.o

In regards to the evil things in the back, I love the one that is manically laughing!!! I am just in love with it's face!

I love that expression! The mouth is so good 0.0 The paws are good too... I know that's a random comment, but I love the way you draw paws.

I really like the wolves in the background, too. You've managed to capture so much emotion and definition with just a little bit of white on black.

Aww, thank you so much! I honestly thought ours were pretty evenly matched (yours was pretty darn creative!), so I was glad I got someone fun to compete against and not someone who didn't even submit an entry. XD But thank you again, and you should still be really proud of your entry because it was beautiful~
