Description
For 's contest. :3 For round one, the theme was to take the song she gave us and draw something that represents it to us. I got 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' by Panic at the Disco.Song tells a story where someone overhears a bridesmaid in a wedding calling the bride a whore. Bridesmaids are supposed to be good friends of the bride, so hearing someone say that behind her friends' back makes you wonder what your own friends say. The speech bubbles here say what the best man and bridesmaid are telling their friends, but behind them is their true thoughts, what they'll whisper to others later.
Why are the people anthro? Because I wanted to give myself an extra challenge, and I've barely ever drawn anthro before. :3 The characters are completely random; any likeness to another character you've seen is strictly coincidental.
Yup, that's about it. :3 Done in Prismacolor Pencils.

Kay so, we'll go with the positives and negatives as we go along.
From top to bottom.
Fist the heads, something I really can't do but you've managed to do fa-fa-fa-fantastic on! Nothing seems out of place, though I feel the cat's hair could have had some extra detail, maybe some darker lines, but if you haven't done that before might be better to practice on the kind of stuff before doing it on a contest picture, for those types of thing you're wanna do what's most comfortable. Also I feel some extra effect could have been added if the badger and cat were looking at each other, but that's more my own 2 cents then a critique. You've definitely done a great job with the heads as far as shape goes though maybe the ferret's (correct me if i'm wrong on the animal) head could have been made just a touch bigger.
For the necks you've done insanely well, considering everytime I try to do anthro/humans the neck and arms always get me 8 c so they're definitely not easy but you've done it so well. The only thing I could think of for the bodies would be making the ferret a little more slim as they're usually quite slim, but since he's an anthro i'm not sure that rule applies ;u; you done really well with the hands considering most people can never get those suckers right but you got them looking quite right. c:
finally: the legs and feet
On the cat's shoe the left one could have been shown off better if it was more round-ish then flat out, it looks a bit limp and semi-off with the picture, not to noticeable though unless you look it down.
Some final words:
This was definitely hard to critique as there were very few noticeable flaws, you've improved immensely and you can only get better, I can see all the work you must have put into this drawing, and your handwriting is lovely : 3

And oh MY god I have missed your lovely critiques!! So let's see ... *places picture in front of self* Mhmm, I see what you mean about the cat's hair (and I might be able to fix that easily!). And it would get the point across if they were looking at each other, I just wanted to make it look like a wedding picture where they were looking at the camera (but then again, I've seen plenty of pictures where the bride and groom couldn't care less if a camera were watching them stare at each other XD)! Hehe, I actually tried to make the ferret really slim, but as he's a little behind Mr. Badger, it kind of doesn't look like it as much. Maybe a longer neck could have helped that. :3 You saw the shoe ... I hate that shoe XD.

BRILLIANT! I love how you interpreted the song into this picture! I especially like the words being unclear behind them because it's kinda one of those songs where you don't get to hear what the friends are calling the married couple behind their back (they did get cut off from their conversation when the singer of the song jumped into the convo and started chewing them out, after all!) I think the adorableness of the bride and groom and the plastered on smiles of the bridesmaid and best man behind them, while the text says a bunch of nasty jumbled together stuff about the bride and groom. Best depiction of this song I've ever seen! Great conceptualization, Tsuki! And very nice color and form in this ^^

I think it's better that the text is behind their backs because it works as a substitute background and the bride and groom aren't meant to hear what they're saying anyway. So that little pun works perfectly in the presentation of the picture! Perfection ^^

Hehe that song was played at my god brother's wedding......it was the one where I had to dance with his fiance's 15 year old daughter, it was a fun time though, I just love the fun little coincidence.
My personal favorite part of this piece are the expressions, so happy but hiding what they truly feel. The details on the bouquet of flowers and the glass of wine are fun to look at as well

The sad thing is, in a lot of cases this is really true. One thing I wish you had done differently is to not have so much writing behind them that we can tell what they're saying, I can get the gist of it but it would be nicer, in my opinion, to be able to distinguish complete sentences. Other than that, though, this piece is fantastic! I love how you did the characters, and I can't believe you can pull things like that out of your head, you're brilliant. I love how you did the textures on the fur and the shading on the hair, and the clothes look so realistic! This is fantastic!
