it wouldnt be so bad if the 3DS version of saria was released, since id be able to use the hair from that with HW textures to make it look legit xD
i would recreate the hair myself, but the problem i have there, is its actually harder finding Lower Quality things to work from and combining bits together isnt so easy with LQ stuff >.<

There are a lot of hype about that female Link, but she is ridiculous.
She just wield a weapon which is meant to be a subweapon like the bow itself and that game already have a lot of females that feels a waste of slot changing the gender of a existing character.
Changing Link's gender is just petty fan service, Saria would shine better than that stupid thing.

If not her, than Nabooru. Saria could use the Ocarina (or would that be too similar to Zelda's flute) or the Kokiri Sword, and Nabooru could use those dual swords the Gerudo thieves use when you fight them.

I'm not counting on it. So far they haven't said anything about extra characters in the Switch port, just extra costumes. More than likely they'd put the most effort into a sequel instead.
