Showing my age here, but as Red/Blue was my first Pokemon game I actually liked this remake even though it's more of a remake of Yellow~

Played through it normally and "ended" the game with 100 Pokemon caught (including Mewtwo) (I say ended because I'm probably not going to continue playing it.)

I never used a Blastoise, Venasaur or Omastar. Blastoise is a very versatile Pokemon!!! (Brick Break, Dark Pulse, Earthquake and Scald)

Blastoise took out the Ice Elite four member by himself!

Eevee took out the Fighting & Ghost member alone! (Eevee is OP in this game lol)

Vulpix, Omastar and Venasaur handled Lance

Everyone did their share against the champion~

didn't evolve Vulpix because it becomes half Fairy and there are a lot of fights against poison type Pokemon or Pokemon who know poison moves~

I'd give it a 7/10 I don't mind the new catch mechanic, but I do think they should still let us battle the old way when it comes to legendary Pokemon.

Yes, I know they let you "weaken" them before it switches to the catch screen, but I'm talking about the good old fashion way~
