Description
This was a piece I finished near the beginning of the school year. I wanted to share it here, though I had originally made it for the fanart section of an anime magazine (it didn't get in, by the way). Anyway, the theme was "swimsuit contest", so I decided to use the lovely ladies of Outlaw Star as my models.In the background is Gene, getting his ego busted. In the foreground is a travel-stickered Guilliam. In the middle, from left to right, is Aisha, Jim, Suzuka, and Melfina. Hooray for Jim! He is my favorite. ^_^
Materials: fine-tip marker, colored pencils
Time: about 3 hours, I'd say, not including draft sketches

Yay! SOMETHING of Jim in swimwear. Kinda partial to that outfit from the spa planet episode, even though he features rather little in that one.
Also it's funny how Jim will call Gene a pervert, even though he's just as much a horndog, just better at hiding it. Spa planet episode again; Jim call Gene a pervert while himself getting his face buried in boobs.

Of Outlaw Star? Yes, I wouldn't have drawn this fan art otherwise. I used to watch it when it was on Toonami, and eventually bought the dvds too.

Heheh, he gets all the girls indeed! Love how you put Aisha the closest to him, it gives me a sensation that makes me think of the pairing... Although Suzuka does look a tad awkward here, I consider this pic and overall success.

Yeah, Suzu definitely could have used some modification. Although I probably will never re-do this pic, I do hope that if I did, it would show improvement.
I always thought Jim & Aisha got along really well in the series, although not necessarily as a couple. They always seem to stick together.
