Avatar: The Last Airbender fanart based on my upcoming fanfic Will of the Water.

Extended Summary: In an alternate universe Aang never listened to Gyatso's conversation with the elder monks and so never ran away. One week later the Fire Nation attacks the temple. Aang is murdered in the Avatar state but instead of the cycle stopping, it goes into suspension...

One hundred years later, a ten year old Sokka's village is attacked and burned to the ground. Confused and horrified, he awakens a terrifying power which decimates the Fire Nation ship and leaves everyone else dead with the exception of his sister and a man they find washed up on shore. Upon awakening the man has no memory, but his uniform says his name is Lu Ten... Shounenai. Zuko/Sokka

Does anyone think I should go through the effort of writing it? I have so many good ideas!
I'm terribly proud of this picture, since all the coloring was done by mouse.

Exerpt:
Katara stuck out her tongue at him, "Nyaa nyaa! You're too big to carry!" Sokka growled at her, his temper finally snapping. She'd been making comments like this all day and they were getting really annoying. His hand twitched, calling the nearest water - which happened to be the water-snake spirit on his shoulder. The spirit squeeked and Sokka sent him a mental apology.
"If you keep saying that I'm gonna soak you! Stop talking!"
Katara shrieked in alarm and looked to Lu Ten for aid, but the elder was spacing off as usual, staring into the distance and no paying the bickering children any mind.
"Lu Teeeen! Save meeee!"
