You should have seen my jaw drop when I refreshed my message centre a while ago... x'D "IS THAT.. IS THAT KAARNE? OMG, I AM NOT WORTHY." It's amazing! Wow! You totally made my day. Love it!

I especially love that you boldly used your own style to create a very realistic Kaarne while the ones I usually draw are very cartoony. Mmm, contrast. <3 You used the "markings" (white vs. blue area) very creatively too. *_* And as always; your anatomy is amazing... your muscular men actually look good! I also like the paintery style you've going on.. always have. Lookit them brush strokes go!

Thank you so much for this! It sure brightened my mood and it's incredibly wonderful to see another artist using my character with such freedom. I get to see other artists' way of perceiving what I've designed.

Ghhh I'm so glad you seeminly like it, I got pretty discouraged with it towards the end.. I feel that I took a bit too much artistic freedoms, I always do. And weell, there's a small lack of the white/blue markings. But I think it's compensated another ways, like his mane stretching to the back etc.. But I remember reading that there really are no real rules when drawing Kaarne! 8) And now to think of it.. I've probably drawn at least every of your "alter egos" amirite?

Oh yes, I likes a lot. Pffrt, no such thing as too much artistic freedom! (Well, as long as the character is recognizable at least... xD) I personally like it a lot when I get to see a very different version of my own characters. It's very inspiring. :> I think you 'compensated' very well, as in.. I immediately thought you just gave the whole colourization a new, more realistic, twist! I love that area on his side where the hair stretches down. *_*

Oh yes! No rules~ Kaarne is the sort of "artistic muse" so I've kept him very loose and undefined in order to allow lots of messing about with the design. Oh and yes you have! At least the ones that are very, hm, solid and on paper. I've tried giving personifications for the more 'subtle' accents in my personality but they're very elusive and only on thought-level as of yet.
