One day you'll be able to keep up with Api's long legs. One day.....
These are just some assorted doods of Rubilight's Toonocosm characters, Api and Lotl. I've actually been drawing a lot of inspiration from this artist since I found them. Their use of colors and shape language really appeals to me, and damn the color schemes of their works are just *chef's kiss*. They always have interesting and unique twists on themes and species, with the details being within a nice balance of not being too complicated while still being really cool and refreshing to look at. They're all fun to doodle!
I was struggling for awhile with forming an art style I really liked and their cartoony art has been a huge influence on how I draw now. So yeah, I genuinely enjoy the stuff I've been producing of late!

I've been struggling a lot recently, so getting this out of nowhere... invaluable. I don't even know how to convey how much I appreciate this in words.
Like, Idk... you made me feel like what I do matters and has a positive impact, that's what I needed to hear rn.
And man, I love their facial expressions. I especially like how you outline their eyes, I'm fascinated with how you stylized eyelashes as little dots under Lotl's eyes.
And I always love a good menacing-looking mindless Api.
It's so refreshing to see these two in an art style that isn't my own.
